This Guide Explains How To Add, Block or Delete A User from a kdrive. To find out More about the Operation and Management of User Rights, please consult this guide.
Add User
The User Must have an infomaniak account to Join kdrive. This one is totally free.
- Access your kdrive (kdrive.infomaniak.com)
- In the Left Side Panel, Click on the Icon to the Right of the Name of Your Drive
- Click on Invite to New User
- Click on
- Add a user to drive to make a user already present in your organization
- Add to use to my organization to invite an external user
- Enter the Email Address of the User to Private and specific His Rights
- Click on Guest
The User will receive an email allowing them to accept the invitation (valid for 1 month). He will be indicated as a pending guest user in the kdrive user management.
Block To User
This feature prevents in use from accessing files from a drive from the web interface (kdrive.infomaniak.com) and from a device.
- Access your kdrive (kdrive.infomaniak.com)
- In the Left Side Panel, Click on the Icon to the Right of the Name of Your Drive
- Click USERS Manage
- Click on the icon to the right of the user on on Block Access to the User
- Click on User block To confirm the action
To unlock a user, just follow the same procedure.
How to Remove a User from a Drive
If a user leaves your company or team, you have several options as an administration. You can choose:
- Block The User For A While (See Above)
- Complety DELETE The User and Their Files
- Delete The User and keep their files for 6 MONTHS
- Delete The User and transfer their files to another user
Actions to perform to use:
- Access your kdrive (kdrive.infomaniak.com)
- In the Left Side Panel, Click on the Icon to the Right of the Name of Your Drive
- Click USERS Manage
- Click on the icon to the right of the user on on Remove User
- Choose Whsther or not to Keep User Data:
- Keep User’s Files for 6 MONTHS GOLD transfer Them to another user
- Delete User’s IMMOSE FILES AND SURVERENTLY
- Click on Delete Access Rights
