Kangoo Z.E. is renowned for his comfort and his modularity. It is available in two lengths thanks to its Kangoo Maxi Z version.E. :: 4.28 m and 4.66 m. The battery and the autonomy of the Renault Kangoo Ze

Renewed in 2017, the electric Kangoo battery now offers 33 kWh of energy capacity, 11 kWh more than the previous generation. Installed under the floor, this one does not come to harm the loading capacity, the electric kangoo offering up to 650 kilos of payload.

In terms of autonomy, NEDC figures announce 270 kilometers with real autonomy estimated between 120 and 200 km depending on the climatic conditions. To limit the consequences of cold on autonomy, note that Renault offers two separate options:

Electric Kangoo recharging

The RENAULT KANGOO electric recharges by means of a socket located behind the logo, on the grille, and accepts up to 7 kW in charge AC (since 2017).

A classic load on a 220V 16A domestic socket allows the vehicle to be recharged in 17 hours while a 3.7 kW wallbox reduces the charging time to 11 hours. The most in a hurry will install a 7.4 kW box to reduce the charging time to just 6 hours.

Marketing of the Renault Kangoo Z.E.

Renault Kangoo Z.E. has been marketed since early 2011 and appeared in July 2017 in its new increased autonomy version.

Renault has chosen to produce the electric version of its Kangoo utility in its Ms.VS.HAS. (Maubeuge Automobile Construction), in the north of France. Production started in 2011 and the electric kangoo is made on the same production line as thermal variants.

Renault Kangoo Electric Battery rental price

Compulsory until 2011, the rental of electric kangoo batteries goes through the Diac, a 100 % subsidiary of the Renault group.

Simplified by Renault, the electric kangoo battery rental package is set at € 58 excl. Tax/month with an annual mileage of 7,500 km. Any kilometer “excluding contract” will be billed 4 cents per Renault.
