I made my site with Jimdofree. Very ergonomic and pleasant to work, everything is French and a lot of tutorials and explanations, for that it’s great. Le Point Noir: On the free version, we cannot transfer an external domain name to Jimdo. It is not explicitly written anywhere, so I made myself have (domain name impossible to link to my site which remains in .jimdofree.com !) Here I am with an unusable domain name unless you switch to the paid version … or to make me another site elsewhere!! This condition should be much clearer!!

In terms of e-commerce, you forget to specify that this functionality is incomplete on Jimdo. It simply lacks the management of customer accounts. Customers will not have access to account creation, orders monitoring, or their history. They must provide their contact details with each new order !
