The Riot Forge label has three new independent games for 2023

Beyond its major titles that are League of Legends and Valurant, Riot continues to extend the universe of its famous MOBA through transmedia projects, but also the development of new games, and the latest announcements made by the Riot label Forge are also very positive at this level.

Three new games published by Riot Forge will be released this year

It is through a one -minute trailer that Riot Forge Games, the independent studios label in Riot, unveiled three new projects planned for this year. After having released the platform Hextech Mayhem and the excellent RPG around a turn by turn ruined King in 2021, the label returns with three unpublished titles: Song of Nunu, Convergence and The Mage Seaker, all three being from the League of Legends Stories.

According to the first spots, Song of Nunu could be a solo game focused on the Nunu and Willump champions. The latter should fight together, but it is difficult to know exactly what it will currently return. This game will be developed by Tequila Works () and will be released this fall.

In a second step, we find Convergence which will be developed by Double Stallion. This title should be a 2D platform operating a fairly cartoonal artistic direction. Echo will also be the main champion of this game planned for this summer 2023.

Finally, we discover The Mage Seeker, a title resembling an action-RPG in the Cartoonesque artistic direction and developed by the talented Spanish Digital Sun studio. The mage Sylas will be the protagonist of the title and it is clear that there are things to exploit around his flagship capacity being the flight of spells. It is very nice to see Riot continue to develop new original projects with its Riot Forge label. This is an ideal opportunity to extend and deepen the League of Legends Lore while exploiting the talents, ideas and skills of independent studios.
