Snap is an easy card game that is a lot played in Britain, North America and perhaps in other countries. This is a rare play of almost pure skill cards, the required skills being observation and quick reactions. Discover all my children’s card games !

Snap

♦ Material : A game of 52 cards (without joker)
♦ Numbers of players : Between 2 and 6 players
♦ Objective : Have all the game cards in his possession
♦ Number of cards for each player : All the cards are distributed fairly, a difference in a card being possible between the players
♦ Rule of the game : A pack of cards, hidden face, is placed in front of each player. In turn, the players return the map of the top of their package, posing it in front of them, visible face.

1) If a player sees two cards of the same value – for example ♠ 8 and ♦ 8 – placed on the table, he exclaims ” Snap ! »». He then picks up the batteries covered by the cards of the same value, placing them under his package, hidden face. The game continues with the player to the left of the last player who returned a card.

2) If a player says ” Snap ! “When there are not two cards of the same value on the table, he places his cards, visible face, at the center of the game, constituting a group common to all players. As soon as a returned card is of the same value as the card visible in the center of the game, the first player to exclaim ” Snap Pool ! »Pick up the two batteries.

3) If several players shout ” Snap ! At the same time, the two corresponding batteries are combined in a single battery, placed in the center of the game, forming or completing the common group. If several players shout ” Snap Pool ! At the same time, the corresponding player’s battery is added to the common group.

When a player has exhausted his pack of cards, he forms a new package with his stack of visible face cards. If he has no more cards, he is out of play; The game continues. The winner is the player with all the cards in the game in his possession.

Snap game

Snap Game is a secret code to get messages between players knowing the code. The playmaker spends the word he wants to say thanks to the following code:

1. Before spelling, the leader says “snap game!””
2. To say a consonant, the leader says a word starting with this consonant.
3. To say a vowel, the leader slaps the fingers a certain number of times, following the position of the vowel in the sequence A E I O U Y: Once for a, twice for E, three times for i, etc.

Easy card game rule: snap

Anyone can face. The cards are mixed and distributed to players as fairly as possible. The players do not look at their cards, but keep them face hidden in a battery in front of them.

This easy card game is played in the direction of the needles of a watch, it is the player to the left of the donor who begins the game. Everyone has their turn, you will just have to turn the map above its battery and place it next to it, visible face. Each player therefore makes a stack of cards visible next to their hidden face battery. If at any time two cards at the top of the players’ batteries are the same (for example two 6 or two kings), anyone who notices it quickly “Snap ! »». The first person who shouted “snap ! »Take the two corresponding cards and add them under his hidden face. The Snap game continues as before, starting with the player to the left of the last one who recovered two cards.

If you no longer have any cards in your hidden face battery when it’s your turn, you just have to turn your opposite visible face to make a new hidden face and turn the card from the top as before. If you no longer have any cards, you are eliminated from the game. The last player at stake is the winner.

When setting up cards for this easy card game for children, you are not allowed to take a look at your card before other players can see it. To do this, the cards must be returned in contrast to the player’s face, so as not to see it before the others.

Only one battery : very young children can play a version where players return their cards on a single battery in the center of the table. A player who says “snap” wrongly must give the two cards above his battery, to the players for whom he said “snap ! ” by mistake. As usual, players who no longer have cards are eliminated from the game and the last in play is the winner !

If two or more players say “snap ! At the same time, the central battery is set aside to become a bonus. Subsequently, if the map above the center battery corresponds to that of the bonus, the first player who says “snap bonus ! “Win the battery.

Simultaneous calls:

• If two or more players shout “snap ! At the same time, the corresponding batteries are combined in a single heap, which forms an additional bonus in the center of the table. If two or more people shout “snap bonus ! At the same time, the battery that corresponds to the bonus battery in question is added.
• Otherwise, simultaneous call problems can be resolved by placing an object in the middle of the table, which must be seized by anyone saying “Snap ! »». If several people try to get their hands on the object at the same time, the one whose hand is below is clearly the first.
• With the central bonus battery (s), players may have to type the battery in the center during the call to snap. When several do it, the player whose hand is below prevails.

Only owners of equal cards can say “snap ! »»

Animals : In this variant of this easy game of cards, which is suitable for about four to eight players, each player chooses a different animal at the start of the game. The dealer distributes the cards to the players visible, a card to each player in turn, forming, little by little, a pile of cards visible in front of each player. When the 2 batteries cards correspond, the owners of these two batteries must call the name of the animal of the other player. The first to do it properly wins the battery of the other player and place it under his own. The winner is the player who has the most cards when the pickaxe is exhausted.

Some play this game with animal noises rather than animals.
