Buy a renault dealership a penultimate or latest generation zoe with a 50 kW battery. Verified car and warranty at least 1 year with a mileage of /- 50,000 km. Make sure that there is no condition to take, with the car, a battery rental contract at Renault . Have a wallbox installing at 7 kW/hour.

Hello, If this is a recent opportunity, the purchase can be made up (Renault has not been doing the battery apart for more than a year), so without rental. If older, the seller “transfers” you the Diac rental battery contract, it’s up to you to negotiate the km with Diac, it will never be “unlimited”, but it is then modular. For the load, ditto, it all depends on the Zoé: if it is the 52kW, the car charger can take 22kW per hour max, so you do the. Used Zoe – Rental Battery ?

Currently in possession of two diesel vehicles which I use less and less (covid, telework, etc.) I project the purchase of a used electric vehicle.
There are lots of interesting offers on the right corner (from 10,000 to 14,000 €) many vehicles from 2 to 3 years old which have less than 40,000 km.
But my wife tells me that it is necessary to add to that the rental of the battery. As there is no information about it in the announcements, I come to find out here.
So used cars (Zoe, Nissan Leaf) are sold in full or must subscribe to the battery subscription ?

In fact it depends, some cars were sold without the battery, others with. To do with sellers, they will give you the information. It seems to me that all the 22 kWh zoe are under contract. For leafs I don’t know. Normally it is marked in “integral” announcements. If it is not marked it is that the cars are under contract. After that is to see, the monthly payments are not exorbitant either (I paid € 79/month for 10000km/year of my old Zoe).

In addition, if the battery is under contract, if it has a glitch, the change / repair is supported by the Diac (the entity which rents you the battery). While if the car is in full purchase, if you have a problem and the car is no longer under warranty, no care. It’s up to you, it’s a calculation. Namely, logically, a car rental car will always be cheaper for equivalent model than a full purchase.

It’s up to you to find out directly with the sellers to have this information, it all depends on the car.

For almost all other VEs on occasion, the battery is included and there is no rental.

There may be some exceptions.
For the Zoé, it is now possible to buy the battery and even, recently, to buy the battery if it was renting.
I think that in this case, the seller indicates it.

For rental prices, know that when you buy a used car, you have to sign a new rental contract with Diac. This contract is not necessarily concluded for the same number of kilometers as that of your seller.

The price depends on the battery capacity and the annual mileage.
