Yes it is always good to keep your mac up to date it is the version with improvements and safety so yes I advise you to do it.

MacOS Monterey: these five functions that will make you want to install it

Officially available for almost two weeks, the new version of macOS is embarked on a myriad of new products. If you are still hesitant to install it, these five new functions should quickly finish convincing you.

On October 25, Apple officially deployed MacOS Monterey, the latest version of its operating systems for Mac. ICloud private relay

Available for the moment in beta version, as on iOS 15, iCloud private relay is a new service set up by Apple to secure your safari navigation by hiding your IP address.
All the data sent by your Mac is encrypted and pass on independent internet relays, thus preventing the sites you consult to know your IP address, your DNS activity, your location and your activity on the web to create your advertising profile for the purpose to send you targeted advertising.

To activate it, you have to go to the System preferences, Then in your Identifying Apple, to check the option Private relay (beta).

Be careful however, the iCloud private relay is only available for iCloud+subscribers, that is to say the paying subscribers of iCloud, having at least subscribed to the offer at 0.99 euros for 50 GB of space storage on iCloud.

Rapid note

Quickly take a few notes with one click as you would with a little sticker paper note, without risking losing the content, is now possible.
With Monterey, Apple inaugurates a quick note function which, as its name suggests, allows you to quickly create a note, which will then be automatically synchronized in the notes application to ensure its backup.

To quickly take a note, slide the mouse cursor in the lower right corner of your mac screen and click on the small gray square that appears. A new blank note will then open to allow you to quickly note everything you need.

The fast notes are also available under the title Add to a quick note from the contextual menu of the right click in Safari, after having highlighted the text.

Facetime

Why you do not give as a title rather cleanmymac, the essential software that must be had on Mac … it would be more transparent than to make believe in a backdrop.
