But at this point, you cannot use it by voice. For this, you have to go through Amazon Alexa or Google Home. So it is necessary activate Philips Hue in respective applications. The main constraint will be that you will need to use the right color name, much simpler with Alexa for the time being, even if less supplied.

In the case of Alexa, we were necessary to remove the device raised in the first place because it did not manage the colors. After a new search (devices> Addition of devices> Philips Hue) in order to bring both the headband but also the associated scenes.

Use by a hue hub remains, in our opinion, the most suitable and complete mode of use. Even if you are still limited by certain aspects such as the fact that All the options specific to the Friends of Hue are not available as the possibility to choose the status of the device in the event of restart after power cut, or even integration into hue Sync leisure areas.

Use

We have installed the Livarno Lux LED ribbon in a kitchen for indirect lighting, silicone protection that looks sufficient for this environment. The first impression is dazzling ! In “White daylight” and 100% intensity, The brightness is really very powerful.
