Control unit

Based on advanced electronic components, the control unit effectively dose the deployment of higher power of the KTM Freeride E-XC. In order to ensure constant and reliable operation of the engine in all conditions, the latter is cooled by fluid.

TRAINING

The synchronous engine with permanent magnet without brushes (“brushless”) of the KTM Freeride E-XC is managed by a sophisticated control unit specially adapted to this type of use. It guarantees an immediate power deployment for maximum pleasure. The more winding and narrow the tracks, the greater the pleasure. Indeed, as the entire torque is available from the first laps, no more speed changes and clutch. Motorcycle driving will never have been easier. And as the electric motor delivers 18 kW in maximum power in cross 3 mode, the KTM Freeride E-XC holds high dragee with many motorcycles equipped with an explosion engine. In economics mode, this model is even capable of recovering kinetic energy during deceleration phases (descent or braking) to give an additional boost to the motorcycle. Note, moreover, that in terms of operating safety, the KTM Freeride E-XC makes no compromise. Even in the event of total immersion in water, you are not at risk. Driving mode

Three different driving modes are offered to adapt the behavior of the propellant group to the pilot’s competence levels on a Ready to Race motorcycle. However, these modes have another interest: optimizing energy management according to the needs of the moment and the pilot preferences. The 1 “economy” mode limits speed to 50 km/h, mode 2 “enduro” restricts the power to 16 kW and the “cross” mode allows you to exploit all the available power, or 18 kW.
