A huge surprise this keyboard m. We buy it by expecting a “classic” keyboard like all brands ..But not at all it is much more, the quality of the product is impeccable and the sound of the keys as well as the sensation we do not expect at all. The wrist rest has a very pleasant texture which can “stick” to the skin after a few hours of play but is very comfortable and good quality, it will largely be able to hold over in time ! The software provided to adjust the software may still lack a little practicality but overall it remains easy enough to do what you want on it. I really recommend this keyboard !

Very satisfied with this keyboard. This keyboard equipped with brown switchs (pre-lub of factory) + o-rings (50a) is significantly quieter than keyboards offered by more widespread brands (Ducky, Corsair, Logitech . ) and the strike comfort is as much superior. Significant advantage of this keyboard, the switchs hotswap to repair a defective key or replace the types of switch according to your desires, without having to buy a complete keyboard. No other generic brand offers keyboard of this quality (Hotswap, PBT touch, sound level) for such a contained price, the other way to have these advantages, is to go through a DIY keyboard and there the price flies away (and good luck to find an iso-fr + keycaps layout) The software, simple, efficient, does what we ask him. Small missing all the same, the volume management keys + calculator that is missing (when you are used to the Ducky keyboard) and an availability in black.

Excellent ! So yes, before I was like you, dear person who reads this comment. I said to myself “a good mechanical keyboard, prebuilt and in ISO fr, at this price there? it smells like scam !””. But actually no. The keyboard breathes quality, the keycaps are good, the feeling of typing is good, the RGB has its effect, everything is there. The software although a little difficult to take in hand at the beginning also fulfills its role and that is ultimately all that is asked. If I was a cooking critic I would tell you that this keyboard is the little hidden restaurant where no one dares to venture and yet connoisseurs know that it has its place among the greatest. And believe me once you have tasted this Ironclad, the rest of the keyboards will seem very bland. You will understand me, I am very happy with this keyboard. Go for as long as there is stock !

Overall I’m happy with it, but it doesn’t suit me completely, so I can’t put 5/5. That said, the note of 4.5 would have been closer to what I think of the product. — The right points — · The touch is very pleasant, very soft. Despite some “blunders” here and there, the quality of the construction is there. The light effects are very nice, and you can also have something very classy as completely barred (the mosaic effect is very fun ). Besides, the keyboard ignition has its small effect ! The keyboard holds well in place, just like the point rest, of good quality too. Nothing to do intrinsically with the product, but the little message in the box amused me a lot ^^ — The bad points — · as a previous comment said, I too have little problems cutting from Dye Sublimation keys. I also agree that the connection can be tedious. · Even more surprising, I have two alt gr keys, one of which instead of the maj! The strike … I am mixed; Switches are very soft for my taste, much more than those of my other keyboard equipped with Cherry MX Brown. But after verification they are technically identical. So it would come from lubrication probably too effective ^^ at worst if I don’t worry I would only have to change it for a model that requires more strength. I also meet as false contacts with the entrance key if the pressure is exerted on the bottom of it. The few keyboard shortcuts (increase the volume, lower it, etc.) are visually absent, and even if the keyboard is all the more sober, I find it a shame. · Last “negative” point: the software only works under Windows (in any case I have not managed to make it work on Lignux, but if you have a solution I am a taker).

Super content with the product ! Dye sublimation finishes could be improved, there are cutting residues hung on the keys. But it’s detail, I’m perfectly ok to put it to the clean myself. Unbeatable quality price, thank you for this adventure, strongly the TKL

The superb and very pleasant keyboard ! I must admit that I did not expect such a striking feeling knowing that this is my first mechanical keyboard. I apprehended a little the sound of switch but the pre -lubrication of the latter make them silent enough for my taste. The keyboard weighs its weight and it gives it a real feeling of solidity and quality. I am very happy to have been oriented towards this keyboard ! Personally I am a RGB fan, the illumination is very pretty with many effects available and the possibility of the custom touch by touch. It is true that I struggled a little to understand how to program the F1 keys, etc. but with a little patience it does. I opted for the OEM keys which are a little higher than the Dye touches. OEMs are absolutely splendid and the RGB comes out particularly well. And I must admit that I like both just as much so I make a little mixture of the two. The first little inconvenience, I would say it is the cord that does not hold in the groove to bring the thread out or on the left. The second is the state of the tool to remove the keys and switch. He arrived a little damaged and shows traces of wear, I admit I was a little sad ahah. Other than that, for my part I find that it is a (almost) without fault. I highly recommend it 😉

My first mechanical keyboard, purchased for mixed Use Télétravail-Casual Gaming. I am delighted with the quality of the keyboard and the silencer of the keys (red switches). I was able to compare to the high -end keyboard of my spouse, on other types of switches, and I prefer mine ! I had fun adding colorful keycaps, and we see that it is not the same quality as those supplied with the original keycaps were quieter. As a beginner, I appreciated that the small tool to change keycaps and switches + some different switches provided to be able to test the different sensations (blue and brown). I have limited myself to basic use of software, everything I need ! I don’t really want to stop writing this comment because it’s nice to use this Ahaha keyboard. Not at all disappointed for having taken the plunge with this keyboard, thank you very much for offering such a good keyboard Fr iso for a reasonable price !

Incredible discovery, this keyboard is just a nugget ! I had a Corsair K70 RGB, the change is radical, the sensations of the keys and the noise is clearly better ! Reduced noise and ultra fluid touch (Gateron Red) I added the O-Rings 50A, even better. I really recommend this keyboard if you want something quality for a more than correct price ! And Custom Wishes ! Possibility to change switches and keycaps;) I start the switch lub soon, it will be even more fluid: D ! 1 Only criticism and really this is the only one I found is that the keycaps are surely cut by a machine and there is some imperfection as if it missed a slight sanding to smooth the contours of Keycaps. In short, I really didn’t know this keyboard, it’s a very nice discovery! PS: the package is also very well wrapped, no risk of arriving with a unpleasant surprise ! Thank you again for this wonder 🙂

Very good keyboard, too bad the opinions/tests found online are not more detailed, which would allow some (like me) to skip the step faster. Context: I was using a Ducky One 2 RGB in Cherry MX Brown for some time and wanted to pass on a “moddable” keyboard and Hotswappable. I wanted a real evolution and began to watch Custom Full Alu Keychron Q3 keyboard (I had a budget of around 300/400 €). In view of the very good criticisms I let myself be tempted by the Ironclad, who after all was cost “only 129 €” by telling me that it would be a keyboard almost like the one I had but with which I could have fun a bit of modding and modification.
I still hesitated for a long time due to the lack of detailed tests and precise information on this keyboard. Indeed, in the internet time there is more and more test of people who only seek to make figures, made by laymen who often do not know much and do only one Product surface analysis (typically those who copy and paste characteristics and make an abstract analysis of these to believe that they have not even touched the keyboard).
So I allow myself a small detailed presentation of the keyboard that I have been using for about a week.
Bundle: The box contains the well-protected keyboard in its bubble film, its USB-C Detachable cable (of good quality), a fairly good caps/switches extractor (don’t expect anything crazy but will be largely the Work if you want to remove switches to lubricate them etc), a microfiber cloth to clean the keyboard (glasses cloth), some switches (red/blue/brown) and for the Dyesub 4 touches “fantasy” version for a bit of pep (an additional non-slip skating is also provided, perhaps for the feet). Aesthetics/finish: the finish is good or even very good. The keyboard is sober and well finished, the rendering is particularly for my taste, plastics look solid. Small mention, the non -slip pads which have a less good grip than those of my Ducky but which I prefer because I often move my keyboard when I play (the grip is more than enough for it to walk during the use) And the feet that do not have a non -slip skating (I do not unfold therefore …). The basic base in plastic sounds a little hollow but does not affect the quality or solidity of the whole (possible to moder the keyboard to put soundproofing foam if you bother you). Technical characteristics: here is the info that I had trouble holes online. According to my measurements, the tilt of the keyboard is approximately 3.5 ° flat and approximately 10 ° with unfolded feet. The keyboard is not in “Gasket Moun” so it will not have this flexible side during the strike. If you are used to driving the backgrounds and are sensitive, possibly think of the O-Rings to preserve your fingers (personally I prefer the feeling of typing without rting which also considerably shortened the race of the key). The PCB is of the North-Facing type, CAD that the LEDs are on the north side (above), which will impact the editing direction of switches. Historically, switches are made to be mounted in south-factor, which means that for a long time, there were interference between the Keycaps of the Cherry type (which are shorter) and the switches mounted in North-Facing (the keys lower bodies kicked on the top of the switch during the shot which produced a little pleasant sound). Here, there is no interference, it seems that Gateron has changed the housing of his switches to ensure that there is no interference (in any case on my keyboard, with the keys of Cherry Dyesub profile There is no interference). Finally last point, the stabilizers are not screwed on the PCB and are lubricated with factory. Mod ? : Out of the box, this keyboard is already very good, however, it benefits a lot from certain simple, inexpensive, but time -consuming mods, but time -consuming. I personally lubricated all the keys with Demon Blood. It’s tedious and it took me 3 evenings (weekly). We can read on some sites that the difference is not obvious, I do not agree. If it is true that the keys are oiled from the factory, the difference is still substantial, whether at the level of the shot (touch more fluid, homogeneous and slightly heavier) than at the level of the sound (more serious noise and above all more suffocated). Be careful however, on switch brown, the touch return will be less pronounced after lubrication. I also dismantled the stabilizers to reread them at the Demon Blood and Modder (tutorial easily found on the Internet, cut the legs, band aid on the PCB to suffocate the noise). The difference is blatant in terms of consistency and sound. Strike feeling: I opted for the Gateron Brown with Dyesub keys. Dyesub keys are Cherry profiles, lower than OEMs, which I personally prefer for their ergonomics. However, OEM keys can be more interesting for people who prefer to have a feeling of “longer race” of the keys (especially for the entrance key). The striking feeling, after mod, is really incredible for the price (and even in fact in fact) and I weigh my words. It is possible to go even further and to add insulating foam below the PCB and make a MOD TAPE but frankly, the result is already so good that I do not see the interest. Strike comfort level, we are light years from my Ducky One 2, which is already a very good keyboard.
Software: I am not a big fan of RGB Bling Bling, besides I disabled the RGB on my keyboard since I had it, and it was the same for the Ducky. However, it is true that on this keyboard, the RGB adds a touch of madness which comes to cut with the sobriety of this keyboard. In other things, I would even say that the RGB is particularly classy on this keyboard. The software is not the most “beautiful” level interface that I have seen so far, however, it offers a large number of RGB effects and a great freedom of personalization (to assign touches that no one uses to multimedia keys for example). Perhaps it is missing a software guide to allow certain laymen to understand how to use all the functionalities of the software (not my case personally). In conclusion: a well finished keyboard and very good out of the box. An exceptional keyboard after a long modding but with a controlled budget. For comparison with my Ducky One 2 RGB which costs more, the evolution is striking on all points except on construction, the Ducky being also particularly well finished.

Good evening,
First of all, thank you for your purchase. Then, name of God is a shame that the testers of the press do not show as much as so that your return Until now has not spoken of LED North Facing anyway, happy to see that you like the Ironclad and above all to receive so much praise for this modest keyboard. Regards Christophe
