How to install and connect the SFR Box 8 or the SFR Box 8X ?

• The optical cable is fragile. It should not be folded.
• To avoid eye damage, Do not look at the end of the optical cable or the Pon connector of the SFR Box 8 or SFR Box 8X.

I install the SFR Box 8 or the SFR Box 8X

1. Connect the optical cable (supplied by the fiber installer) to the 8 or 8x box box at the Pon connector (green port).
2. Connect your phone to Tel (Gray Port) using the cable provided with your phone.
3. Connect your box to your Wall Sector Power thanks to the power supply block.
4. Push the button On/off To start the box.
5. Wait until the Pon light flashes.
6. Wait until the WiFi light comes on.
7. Connect a computer or smartphone to your internet box with an ethernet cable or WiFi using the identifiers present under your box.
8. Open your browser and enter the 192 address.168.1.1. Then enter your fiber password.

Once your box 8 is active, install your SFR Box 8 TV.

I benefit from very high speed (THD) SFR

1. Clip your feet at the bottom of the SFR Box 8, then put the vertically to avoid the risk of overheating.
2. Connect one of the two outputs of your Wall TV socket at the SFR Box 8 at the DS/US connector using the coaxial cable provided. If your wall TV socket has a single output, Use a distributor (not supplied).
3. Connect your phone to the Tel Take using the cable provided with your phone.
4. Connect the Box 8 to your Wall Sector Power thanks to the power supply block.
5. Push the button On/off To start the box.
6. Wait until the DS/US and Internet lights are lit and remain fixed.

Once your box 8 is active, install your SFR Box 8 TV.

• If your socket has only one output, you will need to insert a clippter (1 male + 2 females) or to screw (3 females), depending on your installation. The input in of the distributor is inserted directly into the wall outlet or via a cable (not supplied), and the other outputs are to be linked to the equipment.
• If this one has that a stringed socket, you will need a fellow/RJJ telephony adapter (not supplied).

I benefit from the ADSL SFR

1. Clip your feet at the bottom of the SFR Box 8, then put the vertically to avoid the risk of overheating.
2. Connect the DSL connector (1) from the SFR Box 8 to the wall plug via a DSL RJ11 cable. If necessary, use an ADSL filter (not supplied).
3. Connect your phone to the Tel (3) socket using the cable provided with your phone.
4. Connect the Box 8 to your Wall Motory Power thanks to the power supply (2).
5. Push the button On/off To start the box (4).
6. Wait until all the lights of the box 8 are on before.

Once your Box 8 Active Install your SFR Box 8 TV.

The main difference between the different SFR box packages lies in the television channels included. Thus, you have access to 160 television channels on the Box Starter offer and 200 channels on Box Power and Premium Box offers.

Several TV decoders are offered by the operator depending on the offer chosen:

Differences between the SFR box offers

SFR Starter Box

SFR BOX POWER

There Power box Includes internet access, a 200 -channel TV bouquet and unlimited calls to fixed and mobiles in France. Fiber Internet access flow rates are better than on the Starter box: 2 GB/S Maximum in reception and 700 MB/s in broadcast.

SFR Premium box

Refund of termination fees
