First of all, check on the Address Information block that the last update date is recent. If this is not the case, click on the “update” link. The Internet network card is currently compatible with the fiber optic networks of Orange, Bouygues Telecom, SFR, Free, OVH, Altitude, Covage, Axione and TDF operators.
Where the internet is the fastest in Europe ?
According to the annual study of the Cable site.co.UK, based on several hundred millions of connection tests, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Andorra, Luxembourg and France are the European Champions of the Internet High Speed. With average download speeds between 150 and 250 megabits per second, these five countries rank in the world top 10 in 2023.
If we take into account the fact that small territories are advantaged by the size of the network they must deploy, the performance of France is all the more remarkable, even if it does not account for regional differences. By excluding all countries of less than a million inhabitants, the French fixed internet network reaches second in the world, behind that of Taiwan.
On the other side of the ladder, the slowest flows are measured in the Balkans (Albania, Croatia) and Turkey, where the average download speeds descend below 30 megabits per second.

From this internet networks card, check what is the best speed and the best internet access technology in your accommodation (ADSL, VDSL, cable, fiber optics).
This card is an easy and quick solution to understand its internet coverage and a precious help to choose the internet offer most suited to your address.
The Internet card allows you to know the percentage of housing eligible for optical fiber on the scale of the department and the municipality. By selecting an address or zooming on the street scale, the card gives you the flow rate to which the accommodation is eligible. Then click on a lozenge to find out the technology that gives you access to this speed: ADSL, VDSL, cable, optical fiber.
Internet networks
At the end of 2022, more than 80% of the premises were connectable to fiber optics. A figure still far from 99.7% of the ADSL but the new optical fiber networks are quickly deployed. By 2026, almost all French households will be eligible for very high speed.
On our map of internet flows, the ADSL corresponds to the flow slices between “less than 3 Mb/s” and “between 8 and 30 Mb/s”. The addresses eligible for the boosted ADSL – the VDSL2 – correspond to the flow edge “between 30 and 100 Mb/s”. These are unlocked homes located closest to the central telephone.
Broves compatible with flow slices above 100 Mb/s reflect the fiber optic eligibility, the only wired technology to provide these Internet connection speeds in France.

How to know the list of operators available at my address ?
Depending on the rate of deployment of internet networks, not all accommodation has the same level of equipment or the same internet speed. Thus, even if your address is eligible for optical fiber, it may be a single internet operator offers this level of service. To find out the list of internet boxes available at your address, simply click the “See offers” button on the Information block of each address. You can also do an eligibility test to find out the subscriptions available at home.
Why my address or accommodation is not on the card ?
If your accommodation or address is not on the map, this means that we do not yet have its geographical contact details. It is likely that you will meet a similar situation on road cartography and navigation assistance sites (GPS). Do not hesitate to consult our card regularly to see if your address is identified on our speed card.
Where the data displayed on this card come ?
The ADSL and Fiber card is based on two data sources. First of all on the information concerning the departments and the municipalities. They are communicated by ARCEP and updated in a semi -annual manner. Information concerning the accommodation comes from our own databases and result from the history of eligibility tests carried out on the Ariase site. These data are indeed updated in real time to the rhythm of the eligibility tests carried out by the users of our site.

My address is eligible for fiber but the internet card tells me the opposite, why ?
First of all, check on the Address Information block that the last update date is recent. If this is not the case, click on the “update” link. The Internet network card is currently compatible with the fiber optic networks of Orange, Bouygues Telecom, SFR, Free, OVH, Altitude, Covage, Axione and TDF operators.
Why the internet debit in my town is not the same for everyone ?
Depending on whether you are connected to the fiber or not, the flow can evolve (very) significantly. Indeed, ADSL, VDSL, cable and fiber do not provide the same connection speed. It is therefore strongly likely that you and your neighbors do not be equipped with the same technology. If you are equipped with the same technology as your neighbors and you do not have the same speed, it may be wise to look at the theoretical speed provided by your Internet box or to contact your Internet service provider.
From what point color are we a “good flow” ?
A good internet connection depends on three parameters: download speed, transfer speed and latency. The French government has set a threshold at 8 Mbit/s equivalent to a “good broadband”. This is indeed the minimum speed necessary to download files quickly and watch streaming videos without bug. The minimum color that corresponds to a good flow is therefore orange.
How to be sure that my address is recognized ?
We have implemented the automatic geolocation of your location when you consult our speed card. For the area where you live is automatically recognized by our tool, you can activate geolocation in your browser settings. To find out if the address indicated is yours, simply check the address tested registered on our tool.
How to know if the data displayed to my accommodation is recent ?
When you click on the point of color displayed at your address, a last update date is displayed just below debit data. It is therefore very simple and quick to know when the data corresponding to the debit of your address were updated for the last time. Be aware that this date can be updated at each eligibility test that you do.
