Automate assembly

A line to add at the end of /etc /fstab:

// mafreebox.freebox.fr/disc \ 040DUR//HOME/MONLOGIN/FREEBOX CIFS _NETDEV, Guest, UID = MONLOGIN, GID = USERS, IOCHARSET = UTF8 0 0 0

The _NETDEV indicates that it is a network device, so that the system only rises it if it has access to the network.
Guest is the method of identification with freebox: for an authenticated connection, place your identifiers in a file in the form

username = your_user password = your_pass domain = freebox

And replace guest with Credentials =/path/to/file (it is also possible to specify directly username = xx, password = xx in the fstab, but not recommended for security reasons)
Uid and Gid are for the Id User and Group to which the repertoire will belong when mounted. By default (on the Freebox V5 in any case), they end up with the UID/GID of 4242.
It is also possible to put particular rights with the parameters File_Mode = 0777, dir_mode = 0777 .

Change password

There are two ways to change the password on Freebox OS.

Be to consider that you forgot it.

Either this is not the case, just connect to Mafreebox.freebox.fr and chosen from the desktop or in the menu displayed from the “Free” button, the “Freebox” settings option,

Forgot your password

If you forgot the connection password in Mafreebox.freebox.fr, don’t panic, you can change it !

One constraint, however, being close to the Freebox Server (XDSL) and have a connection with it in RJ45 (traditional network cable) or WiFi !

For safety, remote changes are actually not authorized.

Launch your internet browser and type the following address in the URL bar: Mafreebox.freebox.Fr
