I would like to share with you my (oh so negative) experience in the installation of the new orange offer “protected house” alarm.

First of all, you should know that their advertisement indicates:

“All inclusive: excluding connected smoke detector, additional badges and remote control.
Intrusion detectors are included in the subscription regardless of the number of detectors necessary to protect housing.”The only constraint being that you should not have a house of more than 150 m2. That is my case.

So I called their Intelligence Service before installation since I already had an alarm. Warm welcome, the person tells me that the current configuration will remain the same thing with them.

We therefore make an appointment for the installation and a technician moves and makes a diagnosis of the house for installation.

You should know that my house is on 2 floors and has 5 openings outside the ground floor (included the front door).

The technician tells me that the installation will have 3 door opening detectors, a camera and 2 motion detectors + the power station.

I tell him that I do not agree since I have 5 openings on the ground floor and that I therefore need 5 opening detectors.

The above he tells me that he cannot put more than 3 and invites me to get closer to orange.

The alarm is installed but not compliant, then setting it up in part, 2 of my windows are not secure. In addition, movement detectors only start when a person of 30 kg is detected. Suddenly, even in total march, the alarm is useless since we have already had the opportunity of an intrusion by children of – 30 kg .

Several calls were necessary from Orange to hear us say after 15 days that it is not possible to add 2 opening detectors (even optional) and that it was not possible to decrease the weight concerning movement detectors.

Finally to finish, when I had a manager yesterday that I could not access my request for adding detectors and that the only solution was to uninstall the alarm. I therefore approve the request for termination of the alarm, he tells me that I would not have a fee (fortunately . ) and tell me that I was going to receive an termination email to return.

I come back in the evening to my house and there surprise. Impossible to deactivate the alarm neither by the code nor by the application for which the identifier and the password no longer worked . The alarm yelled + 20 minutes and I could not reinding at home, I was then online with a person of the video surveillance and they, after 20 minutes, finally stopped the alarm.

It turns out that they had simply deleted my account without warning me . A very unpleasant official told me that she was going to investigate .

+ an hour later, a vigil appeared at my home to find out if we were going . A shame when we know that we were online with remote monitoring when the alarm began to scream and that we could not stop it and that they admitted to having closed our account without warning us and without worry that the alarm was still active at our morning home .

Conclusion: To date, still no return from them to find out how it is that our account was closed without warning us and leaving us at the door of our home. No email either concerning the return of the equipment.

So beware of **** . You are limited to 3 door opening detectors and no more . Moving detectors do not comply and orange are incompetent in terms of alarm. At the same time, each his job.

I also come to share my experience regarding this offer.

I subscribed in the store, I was reassured, I was given information (securing entrances, garage, etc.), so I signed.

I was recalled the next day for making an appointment (very responsive, I appreciate) and I am offered several slots including 12 noon-4 p.m.

Until the whole is fine, everything is beautiful everything is pink (especially given the attractive price and the promo valid 12 months).

The technician arrives on D -day, makes his diagnosis, and it gets complicated.

I have two entry doors on the ground floor of my house (one main, the other overlooking the partially fenced garden but accessible by a possible burglar).

The technician informs me that he will not put a door opening detector on the 2nd but only on the main.

Mouai, so child I am only secure 50% (maybe we have to compensate for the current promo. )).

He offers me a motion detector instead with photo taking. The problem being that on the ground floor I have only one and the same room, square, with in particular toilets, and yes sometimes at night I get up and my husband too. With the head in the C.
