Farewell livebox 4, Sosh goes (finally) to the Livebox 5 in its fiber offer

After more than 4 years of good and loyal service at Sosh, the venerable Livebox 4 finally gives way to the fifth iteration in the fiber offer “the Sosh box” and for the same price.

Livebox 4 is dead ! Long live the Sosh box ! Finally, rather the Livebox 5 since Sosh has just replaced the aging 4th generation of Livebox in favor of the Livebox 5 via its fiber offer. This news comes just after the announcement and release of the Livebox 6 at Orange.

Released in 2019, the Livebox 5 was reserved for customers of Livebox Fiber and Livebox Fiber UP offers from Orange. The main argument of lined performances, a “intelligent” wifi to better distribute the wireless network and an entirely made of recycled plastic,.

Note however that if the Livebox 5 is capable of managing flows of up to 1 GB/s per device for download (up to 2 GB/s in shared mode), the fiber offer of SOSH remains limited to 300 Mb /s for download and shipment. The ASDL offer is still still provided with a livebox 4.

A price that remains unchanged

The other good news concerns the price, since it remains unchanged. We are always entitled to a fiber offer at 19.99 euros per month for a year (before going to 29.99 euros monthly), without any commitment. The price also remains the same on the side of the ADSL, but this time it is set at 19.99 euros per month, even after a year.

In both cases, it is possible to opt for the rental of a 4K HDR TV decoder for 5 euros more per month and thus enjoy the 140 channels of the bouquet on its TV. If you have a television or a multimedia case running Android TV, you can also download the Orange TV application and view the bouquet channels for free.

You receive Orange Livebox 5 for the fiber offer and the Livebox 4 for the ADSL offer to surf from your home regardless of the available network:

• xdsl : your flow will depend on the technology deployed – 15 Mb/s maximum in ADSL and 50 Mb/s maximum in VDSL

Phone

By subscribing to the Sosh box, you can benefit from 72 included channels, some of which replay, via the orange tv app. The option is offered on request if you are a fixed customer at Sosh.

You can also find 7000 films and series on demand and 5 optional TV bouquets.

140 channels with the 4K UHD decoder for € 5 per month

Sosh also allows you to enjoy the UHD 4K decoder, also provided on the Livebox of Orange, to access 140 channels as well as SVOD services (Netflix, Disney+, Video Prime, etc.). This is available for € 5 per month.

By subscribing to the option, you receive the UHD 4K decoder compatible with the Ultra HD 4K and the Dolby Atmos. It contains an 80 GB TV recorder, or 40 hours of recording. It connects to Wi-Fi on the box, which allows you to install it anywhere in your home. He also joined a remote control with Bluetooth 4.0 to easily choose your programs.

V2 TV key at € 3.99 per month

Nobody comes and we warn at 6 p.m. past … for a 1st contact is top. And they do not even apologize knowing that I am in Paris and that they quietly explain to me that no technician is available; (. I subscribed on 06/13/2017 to the offer announced Sosh Mobile + Livebox with promo code of 15 euros per me pdt 12 months.
We are on 07/16/2017 and I still do not benefit from the fixed internet/telephony offer included in this offer. Worse, the former operator is always active on the line and is reluctant to terminate unlike the rules related to portability all by continuing their levy illegally.
Orange sent us three livebox in the space of 2 weeks, a technician went to home and despite this, I still do not benefit from the services.
Their cient service is nonexistent, impossible to join anyone.
I am completely dissatisfied with the service, I strongly advise against the subscription of an offer at Orange.
For all that is sosh, do not fall into the trap at the bottom cost, to flee like plague.

To go from Orange to Sosh, the modification is normally possible from your Orange Customer area.

Sosh+Livebox packages do not include the Orange Cloud. The Cloud option is billed at € 5 per month for 100 GB of storage and with mobile internet consumption of the cloud offered.

The offer at € 34.99 (price excluding promotion in ADSL) includes in its mobile package unlimited calls to all mobiles and fixed in France.

But I never use the “Data in Europe in 5 GB / year that is included”.

Sosh Mobile + Livebox at € 39.99 which does not include the “Data in Europe of 5 GB/ year” package.

Jean, just change your package from your Sosh customer area or by contacting an enchant advisor from Sosh.Fr

Note that the Sosh + Livebox package at € 39.99 includes 5 GB per month in France against 10 GB for your current package.
