Peugeot 2008 vs 3008: What are the differences ?

The 2008 underwent a radical transformation. Forgotten the look of little raised break, make way for a really typed SUV silhouette. Above all, the vehicle has grown well … to the point of getting closer to the 3008. So there is now something to hesitate between these brothers. External dimensions

The 2008 grew up a lot, since it took 14 centimeters in length, to reach 4.30 meters, the size of a compact. Besides, it exceeds 5 cm per 308 ! The 2008 is therefore close to 3008, but side by side, we will still see a difference in size. The “small” is shorter of 15 cm, less 7 cm wide and lower by 9 cm. The second generation of 2008 has a much more angular and muscular look, as was the case with the 3008 II. The 2008 even dares more, as its very ribbed flanks and its luminous sabers prove.

The interior presentation

The 3008 had marked the spirits with its dashboard worthy of a concept car. But the 2008 is not to be outdone. It may be in a lower category, his presentation, taken up at 208, also has its effect, with here again a concept aspect. The little one is therefore more technological than the large. However, the quality of materials and assemblies is more neat in the 3008, with for example surfaces covered with fabric. The 3008 also has a more accessible central screen.

Habitability

No surprise on board, the 3008 advertisement of better dimensions than 2008. We can emphasize that on the roof guard side, the 3008, however 9 cm above, only offers 1 to 2 cm more inside.

But there is no photo in terms of width, with the levels of the elbows, 8.5 cm at the front and 10.6 cm at the back more for the 3008. This counts a lot for the bench. It will be difficult to be comfortable three in the 2008. So be careful if you have family use, with three children to store.

The chests

On this point, the difference is marked. In 5 -seater configuration, the 3008 receives much more luggage, with 86 liters of more volume than 2008. There are also 12 cm deler in depth and 6 cm more height under tablet. To load, no difference, with a threshold at the same level. The basic modularity is the same on both sides, with bench 2/3-1/3.
