Renault Zoe 2022: a new range and downward prices

The electric city car starts the last straight line of its long marketing. In 2024, the R5 will replace it as an entry level of the electric at Renault. But the French manufacturer already rocks in a new era, and the Renault Zoe is no exception to this change. Thus, the city car gets rid of its four historical finishes (Life, Zen, Intens and Limited) and recovers those introduced by the new megane e-tech: balance, evolution and techno.

These new ranges are better equipped than the previous ones, since the ZOE will have the Easy Link system and the associated touch screen from theEntry -Equilibre entry. The latter also offers cruise control, air conditioning or even electric mirrors.

The second finish, Evolution, is of the same level as the old Limited and the professional finish, Business. Some options enhance this range, including GPS navigation.

The version Techno receives all the high -end options of the old Intens finish, with some supplements. Easy Park Assist is one of them, as is emergency braking and 17 -inch rims.

In terms of Zoé engines, Renault only offers a choice by finish. The manufacturer thus offers the 80 kW R110 (110 hp) for balance and evolution finishes. The R135 version, which develops up to 100 kW (135 hp), teams the high -end techno finish. At 52 kWh, the battery capacity is identical regardless of the model chosen.

Decrease prices to line up with the Megane e-tech

In terms of prices, the ZOE is available between 500 and 700 euros cheaper than before. Thus, the entry -level balance finish begins at 32,000 euros.

The evolution version is 33,500 euros at entry price, while the price of the high -end techno is displayed at € 35,200.

At this rate must obviously escape the ecological bonus, which is currently 6,000 euros. He will increase to 5,000 euros from July 1, 2022.

With this drop, Renault’s goal is not to offer any ZOE at a higher price than that of the new Megane e-tech. The Small Electric SUV of Renault begins at 35,200 euros, the price of the Techno Zoe.
