I just installed both (smarttubenext and youtube vanced).
Small preference for Vanced.

I just don’t dare connect to my account, the login and PW being obviously those of my Google account (Gmail, etc. )).
Someone else uses it ?

Too bad there is no alternative for the Tizen bone of my Samsung TV. (unless I put a chromecast).

On Android TV, a good app to avoid YouTube pubs?

TV: Just Android TV, with Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Disney+ subscription (it’s already a pack of things to look at)
Internet: Zuny (200 Mbps Down, 10 Mbps up)
Phone: VOIP OVH Discovery subscription
Pc With Windows 10 & 11 + Antix 21

YouTube vanced that I have (forkrya project) puts me a nice message this morning: this content is not available via this version of the YouTube application.
So I went to Re-Vanced, another fork. Still less of advertising, there is no longer any more in terms of comm or in the middle of the lines subscription or reception.

No way to chromecaster I imagine ?

Me it’s newpipe that I use. For TV I put smartview which allows direct wi-fi to see my GSM screen on TV.

Honestly I can’t guarantee it. But since it is not on the Playstore and that it starts from a project xda dev I have rather confidence.

Revanced settings> Layout settings> Uncheck Hide Cast.
After the cast is available in the app, but the other app must be binded with a TV code because the host of the host does not focus.

For those who would like to use Youtube Musique Revanced in Android Auto:
1) Go to Android Auto settings on your phone
2) Tap the version several times in the section to unlock the developer mode
3) Go to the developer parameter via the three points at the top right
4) Authorized unknown sources
5) Add YouTube Musique Revanced to the launcher from the Android Auto settings
