Concretely, it is a question of making an exchange of batteries (25 kg each) when they are discharged. This battery exchange system already exists in France with Zeway, which offers a range of three electric scooters, including a three rechargeable wheels, on this principle.

In Italy, XEV has signed an agreement with the energetician in an agreement relating to the implementation in the service stations of a rack system in which are placed full battery packs. It will just be enough to organize appointments with technicians based on the GPS position of the vehicle. Eni service stations have already been equipped in this sense in five large Italian cities.
