Declaration of a revolut account to the tax administration

You must declare your revolut account in your annual income declaration. When you fill out your annual declaration, declare the existence of the account using the form “CERFA n ° 3916”, where you will be asked to specify the account number, the opening date and the Lithuanian address of the Revolut Bank.

Declaration of a revolut account to the tax administration

As a French resident, you must declare any detained account outside French territory to the tax administration at the time of the tax return.

Your Revolut account is a bank account abroad. Revolut accounts were located before Brexit in the United Kingdom. Since then, Revolut accounts have been migrated in Lithuania. You will therefore need to use the following address:

How to declare a revolut account ?

You must declare your revolut account in your annual income declaration. When you fill out your annual declaration, declare the existence of the account using the form “CERFA n ° 3916”, where you will be asked to specify the account number, the opening date and the Lithuanian address of the Revolut Bank.

How to find your Revolut account number (IBAN) ?

You can find your Revolut Iban in your application, by clicking on the European Union flag next to your balance in euros on the home page. The Revolut account number is made up of the last 10 numbers of your IBAN.

Know the opening date of your Revolut account ?

• Open the Revolut app on your smartphone,
• Click on the profile photo at the top left,
• Then choose “Documents”,
• Click on “Object of the access request”.

This action will generate a document, on which you will find the Opening date of your account at the top of the page.

If you have made investments and received capital gains or dividends, you will also have to declare them in your income tax return. These profits are subject to tax in accordance with national tax rules.
