What is the ceiling of transfers (amount and number of operations) ?

The ceilings of conventional or instant transfers entered online are:

• € 6,000 per operation up to a limit of € 10,000 per week.
• Of 5 operations per day.
• 20 operations per month.

However, you can request personalization of your ceilings.

To do this, we invite you to contact:

– An email (by connecting to you from your “customer access” then go to “contact us” at the top right of your screen)

– A letter signed in Fortuneo – TSA 41707 – 35917 Rennes Cedex 9

Your email/mail must contain the following information:

• Duration (if you want to increase your ceilings temporarily)
• The reason for your request (for example, renovation work in your home)
• The account (s) concerned (s)
• The amount of the ceiling desired by external transfer
• The amount of the weekly ceiling desired for external transfers
• The number of external transfers per day desired
• The number of external transfers per month desired
• The personalization of your ceilings is subject to acceptance of the request by Fortuneo.

To note :

• It is not possible to personalize your ceilings for a punctual transfer.
• Strengthened safety measures can be applied to sensitive operations such as personalized transfer ceilings.

Fortuneo transfer ceiling: what is the maximum amount?

To prevent your transfer from being rejected or blocked by Fortuneo, it is important to know the ceiling by operation and per day applied to transfers by the bank. But then what is the ceiling of transfers at Fortuneo ? Do we have the possibility of increasing these ceilings ? What are the types of transfers that Fortuneo makes it possible to make and the ceilings to which they are required ? We take stock.

With a Wise account, you can send money easily to 70 countries and 50 currencies without increase in the exchange rate. The ceilings on transfers are not binding, and the same goes for processing times.

On the other hand, Wise allows you to obtain up to 10 local accounts to receive unaccompanied funds on currencies such as the euro, the dollar and the pound sterling.

Fortuneo transfer ceiling: everything you need to know

Fortuneo allows you to make different kinds of transfers but you still have to know the ceilings applied to them by this online bank.

Classic Fortuneo Ceiling transfer

For standard transfers in the SEPA zone made at Fortuneo, the amount not to be exceeded by operation is € 6,000 and up to € 10,000 per week. The number of transfers that can be made is 5 per day and up to 20 per monthback.

Note that all the transfers that exceed these ceilings will be automatically rejected by the bank, up to the lifting of these limitations in accordance with the Customer’s wishes.

Instant transfer Fortuneo Ceiling

At Fortuneo, it is possible to make an instant transfer. The ceiling applied to this type of transfer is identical to the ceiling of standard transfers, namely: € 6,000 per operation, and € 10,000 per week¹.

Same for the number of instant transfers that it is possible to make which are 5 per day and up to 20 per month. Again, the fortuneo user can modify the cap of his transfers if necessary.

Ceiling online Fortuneo transfer

Fortuneo being an online bank, all the transfers made from this bank will be online. Consequently, the transfer ceilings that have been spoken of which have been applied to all types of transfers (with some exceptions) that it is possible to perform at Fortuneo.

Fortuneo modify ceiling transfer: how to proceed ?

If the Fortuneo transfer ceiling is not suitable for your needs and you want to increase it, you must contact the online bank. To this end, Fortuneo provides its customers with a dedicated email to find on its Customer Area online.

On his email, the user must provide some information such as: the duration of the increase in ceilings, the reason for this modification, the new amount of ceiling desired for each type of transfer, and the number of operations per day and per desired month.

Note that depending on the financial profile of the person and the character of their request, Fortuneo reserves the right to request additional documents before validating the request.

In the event that your Fortuneo transfer is rejected by the bank, remember to check if you have not exceeded the ceiling by operation, per week or per month authorized by the bank. If this is the case, please increase the Fortuneo Internet transfer ceiling before reducing the operation.

Can we make fortuneo transfers from a smartphone ?

Yes, it is possible to make your transfers at Fortuneo from the Bank’s mobile application. The latter works on both iOS and Android devices.
