Hello everyone. Here is a small challenge that should interest many fathers of families. I have 3 prediction and I want to change my 2 current cars (DS5 Sport Chic and Toyota Corolla Verso). I need help because I can’t find my pearls rare, either:

A) A small, sporty, 4×4, car gearbox, 5 doors, 4 places would be enough (like S1 but in car or A1 sport in Quattro) ?

B) a family, but. sportsman please. 4×4, car gearbox, 5 doors, 5 real places (so no service tunnel) and if possible not a 4×4 gender x6, Q7 or Cayenne. or an overpriced tesla ?

And like at 45,000.- max. Ideas ??

NB: No need to epilog on car box or meca, these two cars will be led by my wife and I want her to need to change (box at) speeds.

Given where I live, I take 4×4 anyway.

A) For the little one, I therefore feel the S1 arrive. Unless I am offered something else.
Subsidiary question, to what size can we take place at the back of a 911 type 997 ?

B) For the family, the 3 rear seats being imperative plus the 4×4. I feel like I’m going to have to go on a SUV ? Sniff. at 40,000.- Used we still have Cayenne at 550 CV. The budget is therefore correct to have sportsman. But I intend to keep a correct displacement below ~ 3.5 l. And the problem of these SUVs is that they are also rare at 5 real places (X5, Q5. )).

An Audi S3 (sportback or sedan) or larger Audi S4 3.0 tfsi see even Audi S6. Otherwise in BMW 335Xi competition, Skoda Octavia RS 4Motion ..

Unfortunately we always come back to this: conceptually, the SUV represents everything I can hate, but when came the time of choice to be able to spend 2 baby seats and an adult comfortably behind, I ended up buying an X5. And in 4*4 sedan, if the Tesla does not have a tunnel, it has a roof guard which can hinder large templates if not giving the opening in the list of options.

I quite agree truvolta. I made once 4 hours between two other adults at the back of my parents’ cayenne, by far the most pleasant “middle” experience I remember. My father’s 5 series is a wound on this exercise.

The V6 is to be avoided at all costs, that of my parents is a GTS 400cv, and even so, it grows considerably less than 335i. Turbo at 45,000 is easy, the question is what generation. Maintenance question, it’s not that expensive, after that depends on what we compare.

For the B, the wise choice would be the X5 in 6 or 8 cylinders, its xDrive makes it one of the most efficient on the snow despite its weight
