Car-Net or We Connect: with the new application dedicated to your online mobile services of Volkswagen ID, connectivity is associated with an intuitive design. Register your Volkswagen and use the We Connect app as a direct connection means of your vehicle*, and take advantage of all the advantages.
Overview of the advantages offered by the We Connect application:
• intuitive and easy access to a lot of information on the vehicle and its status.
• Vehicle practical function remote control from your smartphone. For example, program your stationary heating, simply using the We Connect application. Locking & unlocking doors and baggage trunk is also possible from a distance.
• Find your Volkswagen more quickly, one click on the last parking position.
• Send the next destinations to the navigation system without the slightest stress
• Configure your smartphone as a mobile key *** and validate/manage other mobile keys for your friends or family members
• Even more useful functions for electric vehicles. For example check the battery load state and launch or stop the load process.
The selected functions such as “parking duration timer” can be used with your Android smartwatch
Thanks to the simple registration in the application and to the new Volkswagen ID, your vehicle is connected even faster to your smartphone.

*The availability of services described depends both on the vehicle and its equipment. Please check compatibility on www.Volkswagen-Carnet.com. To use the We Connect services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and you need to connect to We Connect with your username and password. It is also necessary to conclude a we connect contract and respectively we connect more separate with Volkswagen Ag. For We Connect Plus, you have 90 days from the delivery of the vehicle to record it on www.portal.Volkswagen-We.com and use the services for free for the entire agreed period.
** Use requires identity check via the Volkswagen Ident process.
*** For the use of the mobile key, a sepact separate contract must be concluded online with Volkswagen Ag. Only available with the optional “Discover Pro” navigation system and in combination with the WE Connect application. Initially, two free mobile keys are made available: they can be activated during the 4 years following the conclusion of the We Connect contract. The sale of a mobile key requires an identity check of the transferor via the Volkswagen Ident process. Once installed on a compatible smartphone, the mobile key is valid for a year on the terminal in question. You will find an overview of compatibility on www.Volkswagen-Carnet.com.
