How to configure and use the messages center (voicemail)

The pending voice message indicator, represented by a red dot on the icon of your voicemail, indicates that you have an unheeded voice message on your main line. The secondary line will not have a waiting voice message indicator.

Voicemail

A vocal mailbox is a device managed by a voicemail system which allows the deposit, reception and storage of voice messages.

Although commonly confused, the terms “vocal mail” and “vocal messaging” do not designate the same thing. The vocal box is actually a component of the voicemail system (Voice Messaging System – VMS). In this case, while the voicemail allows the recording and storage of voice messages, voicemail allows, in addition, to send them.

The characteristics of this device are numerous: reception message, recording, memory of messages … Just like its use by its users: listening, transfer to one or more recipients, archiving ..

The many possibilities for configuring a voice box allow better adaptation to the needs of companies. For professionals, the voice box is an essential and advantageous tool since it allows you to communicate, as well as to receive messages during periods of absence or unavailability.

If the use of this device is today largely generalized, some of its characteristics are still unknown to professionals. For example, with our interactive voice server solution, be notified as soon as a message is left to your voice box. Then remind the customers or leads that you have missed and thus reduce the share of your non-grease calls.
