Game Ready pilots and studio pilots

You want to play the most recent games ? Or you work using the most recent creation applications ? Nvidia pilots are customizable in order to offer you the best possible experience. If you are a player looking for immediate compatibility from the most recent games, patches and DLC, choose the Game Ready pilots. If you are a creator of content looking for stability, reliability and quality in creation workflows for video publishing, animation, photography, graphic design or livestreaming, choose Studio Ready pilots. You want to both play and work ? Do not worry, the two ranges of pilots can support the execution of the latest games and creative applications.

How to identify the type of product

If the Nvidia driver is not installed:
Open the peripheral manager from the Windows configuration panel.
Find the graphics card.
The name of your GeForce graphics card indicates the product type of your GPU product.

If an Nvidia driver is installed:
Hold on the desktop and select NVIDIA configuration panel.
Click on system information at the bottom left.
The type of product of your GPU is listed in the element column, under the display tab.

Windows driver type

Standard pilot packs are those who do not require DCH components.
“DCH” (Dlight,VSOmponentized,HApps support ardware) is an acronym that designates the new packs presigned by OEM suppliers that implement the Microsoft universal pilot paradigm.
DCH drivers cannot be installed on a standard system, while standard drivers cannot be installed on a DCH system.
To check the type of system you have, please locate Pilot type In the NVIDIA configuration panel information menu menu.
