[Survey]: What is your average autonomy ?

I am addressing Twizy drivers who have had a Twizy for at least six months. This survey will give a good idea of reality to interested people, and why not, to detect anomalies.

For the relief, I consider a landscape of a landscape like Belgium or the low countries moderately damaged for for example, Soane-et-Loire. Hills, small mountains. And very rugged for the mountains.

I suggest you indicate:

Average type of relief type: flat, moderately accident, very rugged

Average driving type: calm, normal, sporty

Average autonomy observed full load: 60km

16km a day for work, then some uses on weekends to go to the station or shopping. Descent in the morning, mounted in the evening. Envy 150m elevation. Autonomy and downward power with the drop in temperatures

Twisyste for 4 months, I have traveled around 2,000 km since .No heating, no air conditioning, no comfort, no electronics. But what happiness. Autonomy in town 60a 65 km, in the south it is not cold in winter .Relatively flat route
I arrive from Collioure where it is very valley, practically identical autonomy. You have to roll “electric”, take advantage of the descends^to recharge and anticipate, be cool.My wife who has a zoe gée M a lecons (36,000 km to the meter already).
The real problem is recharging. We are taken for extraterrestrials, it is not tomorrow that the electric will develop, unfortunately.

Twizy 80 SE since the end of April: 5,000 km

Flat course has slightly hilly, bop small roads so frequent reminders, often at 2.

Autonomy after recharge around 80 km but as I often do around 70 km, I raise my foot in the last kms to be able to finish.
Max seen was 95 km in anticipation but good after riding very very cool to return (50-60 km/h max)

And now it’s cold ==> it drops seriously..

And always so much pleasure ! Especially to see me taken for an extra terrestrial.

You are an extra terrestrial !! We see sacred reactions from the passer -by !!
I am 70 to 80 km of autonomy, at the moment with the cold I am closer to the 70km.

What a chance you have, in 2012 my autonomy is between 48 and 53 km depending on the temperatures in 2017.
I had the batteries controlled, the capacity is still 95% so not straight for new batteries.
In addition I ride cool.

Good morning,
I am in the same case as you for my Twizy of 2012: even if the ODB can display 70 km when it is hot, realite I am around 50 km of autonomy.

To reread all the testimonies, the autonomy of my car is average.
My vehicle: Twizy 80 of 2014,
Relatively flat course (a 1 km climb to the outward journey, which automatically turns into a descent on the return),
My driving is “sporty”. I am always fully the balloons on the departmental, and there are a lot of retarders as soon as I arrive in town (so decade, then acceleration), I am alone but I weigh 90kg.
I eat a half battery for my 30 km daily. Which is therefore 60 km of autonomy for a full load.
I try to really pay attention to regeneration, but I have the impression that it is not really significant.

Oh puree, 48 km it is little anyway.
If the battery is ok, there may be something else, think to check the pressure of your tires, a tire under inflated increases the resistance to rolling. You have the right tires?
Is not something rubbing? For example an HS brake stretch, or something like that. You can check that after riding. Watches the temperature of your wheels after riding, if you have a burning disc it is that you have an abnormal friction.

Hello 600km/month Use 365j/365
Ecoconduite autonomy 70-80km
It remains a little theoretical I never empty the battery at less than 25% I therefore rely on the indication dashboard
Twizy80se 23000km Jan2014
Fully satisfied

Yes it is very (. very very) theoretical, because the estimate indicated on the dashboard is unreliable, it is calculated on the last 150 km, but does not correspond to reality. I advise you not to trust it.
Personally I rely on the charge witness and the kilometers really traveled to make an estimate of the autonomy.

Renault Twizy 80 sheet

Renault Twizy 80

The Renault Twizy is a heavy quadricycle with electric motor. It is offered in two versions: the Twizy 45 available from 14 years old and the Twizy 80 which requires license B (or B1 from 16 years old). He has neither ABS nor ESP but the excellent work of Renault Sport gives him behavior worthy of a sportswoman between term of handling and maneuverability. Dynamic qualities that are paid for comfort on the other hand. The damping is very steep and the passengers must be satisfied with the light soft of the armchairs. Limited to 80 km/h (45 for the Twizy 45), it is a purely urban vehicle even if the 80 version is authorized to circulate on the Paris device. It is forbidden to circulate on a highway in Twizy. Its reduced autonomy of around 70 to 80 km does not allow it to escape anyway. On the other hand, the complete recharging of its lithium-ion batteries only takes 3:30 on a traditional 230V socket. The strong point of Twizy is its very fun side. Its weak point, a price which is still too high for an urban vehicle with such low autonomy. If only he had been eligible for the ecological bonus reserved for electrical cars. Only here, it’s a heavy quadricycle.
