Kia Niro Hybrid: all of a big
The first generation had given way to the sun, the news transforms the test. With brio. The compact kia in its classic hybrid version (it is also available in rechargeable and 100 % electric hybrid) offers rare homogeneity at this level of range. Frugal on the consumption side, imperturbable on the road and particularly pleasant to live in thanks to the quality of the design and the equipment. A flawless.
Nissan Qashqai e-Power: the alternative
The hybrid Qashqai arrives in a particularly congested market segment, but is focused on technology to mark its difference. Its small 3 thermal cylinder only serves to supply the electric motor, which only causes the wheels. A guarantee of reasonable consumption and a solution which is undoubtedly the closest to the driving of an electric, without fears on recharge.
The followers of “French riding” may hold the most convincing alternative to the Peugeot 3008. The sophisticated motorization of the high -end southern high -end, centered on the electric motor which causes the wheels, powered by the thermal block, allows it very reasonable consumption, especially in the city. The optional four -wheeler provides a real bonus in terms of agility, and the interior design is spectacularly successful, apart from the automatic transmission command. The diamond finds brilliance !
Mazda CX-60 Phev: Premium otherwise
Mazda arrives in challenger in the family hybrid SUV category. And, to stand out, has chosen a premium positioning. Both with regard to power or autonomy in all electric and habitability and quality of life on board. Although the all -wheel drive is typed propulsion, it is the comfort card that this flagship of Mazda actually plays. Without forgetting a competitive price positioning in the face of the references of the segment that are the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3.
Lexus RX 450H +: The essential
First hybrid SUVs, Lexus RX played big with its new generation. Bet held: while preserving the “historical” qualities of the model – flawless comfort and finish, habitability – it has a peak rechargeable hybrid engine. With an optimized autonomy in electric, and above all an impressive management of energy in hybrid mode, allowing to delay the reloads in electricity compared to most of its competitors. More than ever a market reference.
Audi q8 e-tfsi: XXL efficiency
The big Audi Hybrid SUV actually likes to play with the lines. Its template appears almost excessive but its sophisticated motorization allows it to remain politically and fiscally correct, while its four steering wheels make its driving fluid even in town. The 462 hp may seem unnecessary, but if we use this flexibility power the thermal consumption and the autonomy in electric proves to be good surprises. Comfort does the rest. A motorway designed for Autobahn, but which is also enjoyed our departmental.
Range Rover Sport Phev 510 hp: the irresistible
Always more. A new generation of Range Rover is always an event. The news takes the challenge by positioning itself above the fray. Even more elegant than the previous one, more comfortable, more opulent in terms of comfort and equipment. And more convincing in this hybrid cutting -up version, which combines a smooth six cylinder with remarkable electrical autonomy. Add to that capacities anyway, if we are not afraid to scratch the bodywork, whose competition can only dream. The price is certainly high, but the assessment is up to.

4. Hybrid and rechargeable hybrid family
Since the end of the Ford Mondeo career, there is no longer a non -rechargeable hybrid sedan on the most compact family market. The wave of new features since 2020 in terms of rechargeable hybrids – with prices, like powers, ranging from single to double – has continued in recent times with an ever greater choice. The Skoda Octavia IV hybrid rechargeable is no longer available because “all the production quotas provided for France have been sold”. Hopefully it comes back to the catalog quickly because it is a very interesting proposal, the only model under € 40,000, using a double petrol/electric motorization already tested in many other models of the Volkswagen group. The Peugeot 508 Hybrid 225 is particularly homogeneous, both comfortable and dynamic, efficient and frugal. On the other side of the range, the 508 PSE plays ultra-sporting with a 360 horsepower motorcycle group. And there is now a cheaper 408 below, starting at € 45,540.
On the side of German premium manufacturers, BMW declines its rechargeable hybrid 3 series with a 320th version now above € 50,000 but it is Mercedes which is distinguished with its new version of C300E whose electric autonomy exceeds 100 km !
