After testing the Titan XL 2020 version, the manufacturer offered to test the 2022 version, which brings a lot of small novelties. As we had already noticed with the previous model, this Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 is considerably heavier than my first gamer chair (from another brand) ! And a little more bulky here. Secretlab also offers different versions, depending on the corpulence and the size of the user: Omega, Titan, and Titan XL. Measuring 1.80m, Titan and Titting XL versions could agree. Having already an XL version, I opted for the “classic” Titan version, already sufficient, in fact. For assembly, two people are recommended, but it is quite possible to assemble it alone and that did not be a problem for me. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble it, taking my time and the photos for the article 😉 In any case this model breathes the quality, we are very far from the gamers that can be found for a hundred euros. The manufacturer was very careful with details, and the finishes are impeccable:

The Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 for use

Let’s start with all possible adjustments, which are numerous ! The height of the seat can be adjusted by 10cm via a controller under the chair, the other controller used to lock the position. It may seem little, but you can go from a position where you barely touch the ground to a position where the feet are flat.

The inclination can be adjusted via a side controller, ranging from 90 ° to 165 °, almost horizontally !

The armrests can also be moved to the inside or outside the center, which allows you to sit down with a conservative position, your arms closed, or to adopt a very wide position.

But the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 does not stop there: the armrests can also move to one of the three horizontal and inclined positions: 60 degrees inward, 90 degrees or 120 degrees to the outside. The armrests are what makes me really love the Titan. I tend to change the position of my arms according to the task I perform, or even the game to which I play (FPS or exploration game for example, which require a very different position). This allows you to perfectly adjust the seat to your needs, to never be in an uncomfortable position. It is simply the highest level of adjustment for ergonomic armchairs.

But that’s not all ! This new series also offers the first ones of an interchangeable gaming chair armrest in mode ! These armrests hold in place via a magnetic system:

These armrests can thus be replaced in less than a second by an armrest of the color or material that we want. Models with memory foam are also offered, in order to further improve comfort in the forearm and elbow. Regarding the seat, it is rather firm. Not hard as a molded plastic seat, rest assured, but it is not a “daddy’s armchair” to take a nap either: p The seat is made up of a mixture of cold foam under patent, designed to bring a firmness improving posture, while giving a feeling of well -being. A material already used in certain mattresses. And it is rather successful: in three months of use, I have never felt of tiredness or uncomfortable pressure points due to the density of the padding. This is the type of armchair that suits me perfectly, and on which I can spend a whole day seated without any problem. He gets freely on the siege if we wish or not, especially since he stays in place there too via a magnetic system: no unattractive strap, he holds in place as if by magic :).

In use, this chair is extremely practical and comfortable. Suffering from the wrist, like many high -dose mouse users, I also had a loss of sensitivity throughout my forearm a few years ago because of a bad position by working, who had ended up crushing nerves at the elbow. Suffice to say that I now pay attention to the position I adopt in front of my workstation. 1 day late with TNT, namely I received the box 2 before 1, and the 2 arrived in advance. It was therefore the number 1 box that was late.

I bought my secretlab titan XL in 2020, superb finishes, excellent comfort whether it is office automation or whole game nights !
This year for an unknown reason the multi-attack broke, it happens it is like that nothing is infallible, except the after-sales service from Secretlab which did everything to solve my problem quickly even if my chair is already 3 years old !

Super quality product

I bought a Titan Evo 2022 chair. The article was received a week after ordering. It is not a super fast time but there is worse. And when you are used to Amazon deliveries. It must be said that the item is superbly excited in a large, very well compartmentalized cardboard and in which all the rooms are super protected (it is still a package of 35kg. ))
The assembly is very easy (it is better to be two) if we follow the large manual in the form of a cardboard sign (and the video if that is not enough)

Only downside, but it is a personal opinion: I find the seat a little firm

Guarantee that is useless, Chair does not last over.

The quality is not there to last more than a year or two, there is game from all over the chair. While knowing that the armrest is the consequence of a greater problem, namely the file which is not straight and which generates me horrible back problems, even though it was the argument of sale of One of their advisor who at the time I had explained the use that I would do, namely 3-16h/day 7/7, which normally enters one of the clauses of the guarantee, which I was Supposed to receive the experience that was sold to me by one of their advisor, but again they kick in touch, explaining to me that I did a misuse, and that the file had to be reajusted, even though I are given to them photos showing that the file itself is not straight. Of course no additional proposal.
