How it works ?

You can exchange your old mobile device when buying a new product. The amount of the recovery is determined by the type and the state of the device. The recovery process is managed by our partner L8P N.V.

Choose a new device

Place an order via Samsung.com and indicate on the product page or at the time of payment which device (s) you want to exchange. It is possible to exchange up to 2 products per purchase. The benefit of the recovery and any additional compensation will be settled directly in your basket.

Sending the recovery device

Immediately your new device shipped, you will receive a first email from our recovery partner (L8P) with the shipping label and the instructions for sending your device to exchange. You will receive separate communication for each product to exchange. Of course, it is possible to send all the products together, if you wish. Always send your device (s) taken up within 7 days.

The recovery value

Within 48 hours of receiving the device to be discussed, you will receive a new email confirming the recovery and compensation. Please note: if the state of the device differs from the criteria you have entered, costs may be invoiced.

What is the recovery value of my device ?

You can immediately see your recovery value when you select your device to resume. Please note that the recovery value indicated is indicative and that the actual recovery value may be different after receipt and verification of the device exchanged.

Why has the recovery value changed ?

The recovery value determined by us may differ from the initially communicated value. This is the case if, after analysis, the device taken up that you have declared does not correspond to what you have declared, for example in terms of type, model, state and/or technical state. Please note that in this case, the difference in residual value will be invoiced to you. If we refuse the device taken up and we return it to you, the total amount of the recovery value will be billed to you.

I can’t find my device in the recovery options ?

The recovery offer applies to selected products and models. Your recovery apparatus may not appear in this list. In addition, we are likely to modify the devices taken up from time to time. The changes are visible on our website and apply from the moment they are published on our website.

My new device must be exchanged/repaired. Can I keep my old device while waiting ?

In the event of a problem with your new device, you can of course keep your old device longer. In this case, please inform our recovery partner and send your recovery device as soon as your new device is in good condition.

Can I exchange several products ?
Yes it’s possible ! It is possible to exchange several products by purchase. Maximum 2.
When will I receive the instructions for sending ?

You will receive the instructions for sending your recovery device by e-mail the same day you receive your new device. If you have not received anything, also check your spam file.

How long do I have to send my old device ?

You must send your old device within seven (7) days of receiving your new device. You can use this time to transfer your data and information from one device to another. If we have not received anything after 7 days, we will send you reminders by e-mail and SMS. After 16 days, we reserve the right to block your new Samsung device. You will no longer be able to use this new device. We will charge you with the recovery costs and the administrative costs that we have incurred, as described in our general conditions.

What should I do if I haven’t received a label ?

We advise you to check your spam first, the email can be there. If you have not received anything in this box either, please contact our recovery partner, L8P, at the Samsung-Inruil@l8p address.com.

What happens if my recovery device is lost during transport ?

If you have used the shipping label appearing in the confirmation email, our L8P exchange partner will start an investigation into the missing package. If it turns out that the package has been lost in the postnl logistics network, it will be covered by our insurance and you should not expect at other costs.

What happens to my device exchanged once you received it ?

Upon receipt, we will verify (i) the signed renunciation and (ii) will analyze your recovery device and check that it (a) corresponds to the type, model and state of the recovery device that you have declared and (b) that it fulfills the conditions of recovery as they are stated in these general conditions. We will inform you of the result of this analysis by e-mail.

What happens if the recovery value is greater than the amount of the purchase ?

If the recovery value is greater than the amount of the purchase, the remaining value will be lost. In all cases, a minimum payment of 10 euros applies.

When will I receive my shipping label ?

Immediately your new device shipped, you will also receive a first email from our exchange partner (L8P) containing the shipping label and the instructions for sending your device to take over.

How should I proceed to send my old device ?

You can send your recovery device for free via Postnl, for which you will receive a shipping label. Send the recovery apparatus accompanied by the renunciation signed in an envelope or a solid postal package. We recommend that you reuse the box in which your new Samsung device has been delivered and always use protective equipment. Glue the shipping label on the package or the envelope, also mention your orderid (order number) outside the package, then bring everything to a postnl shipping point.

Where can I find and sign the renunciation ?

You will find the renunciation in your confirmation email. If you can’t find it, please contact our L8P recovery partner who will send it back to you. Without this signed declaration, the recovery cannot take place. Be sure to print it and send it with your recovery device.

Was my recovery apparatus were received ?

When we have received your recovery device in good condition, we will confirm it to you by email.

What happens to my recovery apparatus when I return a product ?

If you return your purchase, the recovery is automatically canceled with us. Our recovery partner will automatically receive confirmation that you cancel your purchase and it will send you your recovery device or cancel the recovery order.

What happens if I send the system exchanged too late or not at all ?

If the device is not received within the initial period, we will offer you an additional period. If we still do not receive the device in this additional time, we have the right to block your new Samsung device. You will no longer be able to use this new device.

How to delete my Samsung account ?

We would like to emphasize that all passwords and user accounts, in particular your Samsung account, must be deleted before sending your device. You can do so by following the following steps:

– Make sure you have copied the data on your device exchanged on your new device or to have a backup.
– Via apps, go to settings / cloud and accounts / accounts /.
– You will find an overview of the accounts you have activated
– Select your Samsung account and delete it
– After confirming your password, the Samsung account will be deleted.
– After deleting your Samsung account, we ask you to reset your device.
– Go to Settings / General Manager / Reset / Restore the factory settings Confirm that you want to reset the device. Do I also have to send my charger and/or other accessories ?

Sending your charger and/or other accessories is authorized, but not compulsory. You will not receive additional compensation for this. The accessories sent with the device taken up, including cases, SIM cards and memory cards, will not be returned. SIM cards and received memory cards will be destroyed.

Where can I find and sign the renunciation ?

You will find the renunciation in your confirmation email. If you can’t find it, please contact our L8P recovery partner who will send it back to you. Without this signed declaration, the recovery cannot take place. Be sure to print it and send it with your recovery device.
