Rockrider E-Expl 520 s is an electric mountain bike offered by Decathlon. It is equipped with a Brose Drive T aluminum engine positioned in the center, offering a 70 Nm couple. The bike is equipped with a torque sensor for better responsiveness. Maximum assistance is 320%, and maximum speed is 25 km/h in accordance with European regulations.
Battery and autonomy
The red Rockrider E-Expl 520 s is equipped with a battery integrated into the frame, with a side output for easy handling. The ability of battery is 500 Wh. Thanks to intelligent management (BMS), Decathlon lithium-ion batteries have a long lifespan, which can exceed 500 complete charging cycles. An extension of 360 Wh battery is also compatible and can be purchased separately, offering up to 44 km additional on a little accidental field.

The bike is Connected via Bluetooth, offering connectivity possibilities with compatible accessories or applications. The control control is installed on the left side and tilted downwards, for optimal ergonomics when changing assistance modes.
Decathlon Rockrider E-Expl 520S-Cycle part
The E-Expl 520 s has a monopivotic aluminum suspended frame, offering a maximum rear travel of 140 mm. The battery is completely integrated into the frame with a side output, and the bike is equipped with a conical steering socket and a 31.6 mm saddle tube diameter. It also has a fixing for a banging carrier. The suspensions include an X-Fusion McQueen R fork with a 140 mm travel and an X-Fusion Pro r shock absorber of dimensions 210*55 mm, with standard fixing. The wheels are Rockrider 29 ″ 30c, compatible with wide tires up to 2.6 ″.
The weight of the bike varies depending on the size: 24.3 kg for size S, 24.4 kg for size M, 24.5 kg for size L and 24.6 kg for size XL.
Marketing and prices
VTTAE is marketed by Decathlon from 2,999 euros. The frame, the gallows and the hanger are guaranteed for life. The battery is guaranteed 500 cycles. Spare parts are available for two years.
