An R5 Turbo sold 476.000 euros in Monaco
Among the models presented at the RM Sotheby’s auction which took place last Saturday in Monaco, competition models: an R5 Turbo Group 4 of 1982 was gone for 476.Euros !
If the Peugeot 908 HDI FAP of 2008 and 205 Turbo 16 EVO 1 in 1984 did not find a taker, the R5 Turbo Group 4 of 1982 pulled out of the game, and flew away for 476.Euros. Managed by legends, the French Jean-Luc Thérier and Jean Ragnotti, winning the Alpine Critérium de Grasse in 1982, the 1000 track rally and the Biarritz Terre Rallye Rally, the Antibes Rally in 1983 and the rally of Mont-Blanc and Rallye Jeanne d’Arc in 1984, with Ragnotti behind the wheel.
An almost new competiton R5
The small racing car made in Chartres has a 273hp and 1.397 cc engine, four-cylinder online with the K-Jetronic injection of Bosch, front and independent rear suspensions, a 5-speed manual gearbox, all in very good condition.
