  New Peugeot 2008: Strong growth

  4.30 m: This is the figure to remember in the format of this new 2008 which therefore grows by 14 cm from the first generation (4.16 m). It also takes 3 cm in width (1.77 m against 1.74).     If this SUV remains 2 -wheel drive, it will always offer Grip Control and downhill assistance, in addition to driving modes to pilot according to its desires (Eco, Sport, and Normal). An opening glass roof is available as an option without loss of space in wardrobe. Four range levels are planned as always: active / look / gt line / gt. It will be made in Vigo for Europe and Wuhan for China (no specific long frame). Nothing indicates that it is not renewed in Brazil, where it has just been restyled in the inspiration of the 3008, or in Iran.

    A (very) aggressive design

    The “small 3008” aspect (the latter is only “15 cm more” !) continues in profile, with flanks worked with flat.     Finally comes the trunk panel, surprisingly pointed at the foot of the rear window. The E-2008 has the unique privilege of an atmosphere known as Greval gray, a upholstery specific to the hybrid and electric models of Peugeot with blue and green stitching.

    

    The 3D I-Cockpit discovered on the 208 is taken up as it is with its large screen with holographic display above the steering wheel as well as a touch screen of a diagonal up to 10 inches (compatible Mirror Link, Carplay and Android Auto). To put it, the whole interior is identical to the city car, except the counter-door which are specific and which expand the space to live.

    Practical aspects are not forgotten with fairly deep storage under the armrest, and an induction recharge area in front of the gear lever.
