Instant transfers to other revolut users
- Free. This means any instant transfer worldwide to a revolut user.
Local payments
- Free. This designates payments in your basic currency that are sent to an account in your country.
Payments within the single European payment space
- Free. This designates the payments in euros which are sent to an account outside your country, but within the single payment space in euros (“Seppa”). For Swedish customers, this also includes the same payments when they are made in Swedish crown. For Romanian customers, this also includes the same payments when they are made in Romanian Leu.
Card transfers
Fees apply for card transfers.
- This means a payment made using the Revolut application, to a non-voltted card number. These costs will be calculated in real time and you will be presented in the application before you make payment. The exact costs will depend on the transaction itself (for example, the quantity you send and the place where you go). You can also see our costs live here.
All other international payments
- Costs apply for international payments.
- These costs will be calculated in real time and you will be presented in the application before you make payment. You can also see our costs live here. The exact costs will depend on the currency you send and where you send it, but our maximum costs are capped.
- This designates any international payment (other than payment in the single payment space in euros, as indicated above)
Functionality pay all costs
- When you make international payment, intermediate banks may deduct costs of the amount you send. Our “Paying all costs” feature allows you to pay initial flat -rate costs, which guarantees that the recipient receives the total amount. These costs will be billed instead of standard international payment costs.
- The amount of costs depends on your basic currency. It can change from time to time, but you will always see the current costs in the application before accepting the transfer. You can consult our current costs and routes where this feature is available on our pricing page here.
Exchange
Each time you make changes using Revolut within the exchange limit of your subscription:
- You benefit from the revolut exchange rate;
- We add exchange costs (if applicable); And
- as far as possible, we tell you the total cost before you make the change.
This pricing applies to foreign exchange in monetary currencies. We explained it in more detail below.
You will pay more only if you exceed the exchange limit of your subscription. If you exceed this limit, equitable use costs will be invoiced to you on the additional amount. These limits are as follows:
- Standard and more: Exchange limit of EUR 1,000 per month. Fairness costs of 1 % for standard subscriptions and 0.5 % for more subscriptions apply to any additional change.
- Premium, metal and ultra: No exchange limit. No fair use costs.
As far as possible, we will indicate the rate, costs and total cost in the application before you make changes. You will be able to see it, compare it to our competitors and decide whether the total cost is suitable or not: we think it will suit you. The only exception, when it is not possible to indicate the total cost in advance, is when you make a card purchase which requires a real -time exchange (for example, you make a purchase in USD, but You do not have a balance in USD, which means that we must convert in real time for you). However, after the transaction, you can consult the distribution of the total cost in the application.
Exchange monetary currencies
Each time you carry out a currency change using Revolut, we use our revolut exchange rate, add costs (if applicable) and, as far as possible, you indicate the total cost.
We use our own revolut exchange rate for currency exchange. This rate is set by us. This is a variable exchange rate (which means that it constantly changes). We think you will like it.
The costs we invoic (if applicable) are exchange fees. These are variable costs (which means that they change constantly) according to the parameters of your exchange (what you change and when). You can see these costs in the application.
Remember that your currency exchange is taken into account within your equitable limit of use if you are a standard or more customer (but not if you are a premium, metal or ultra customer).

Trade merchant retrofing
If one of your customers disputes a transaction, he can submit a request for “retrofing”. For example, he can do so if he alleys that a transaction was fraudulent or that a product was counterfeit or not delivered. If the retrofing is successful, the transaction will be reimbursed, but retrofing costs will be billed to you. The retrofing costs depend on the currency of the initial transaction, as defined below. You have the possibility of contesting the retrofing request.
Our payment processing services contract contains more information on disputes and feedbacks.
Retroducing costs depend on the currency of the initial transaction. If you provide proof that the transaction was legitimate and that you have delivered products or services in accordance with the agreement with the Customer, the issuing bank may cancel retrofing and retrofactive costs will also be reimbursed to your Revolut Pro account.
Please consult the details concerning the amounts of retrofactive costs below:
