The mountains call you ! Explore more mountains than any mountaineer ! Peakfinder makes it possible… and displays the names of all mountains and peaks with a 360 ° panorama.
These functions are completely offline, and around the world !

Functions

Peakfinder displays a 360 ° panoramic view from a random point of view of your choice. To allow the Penakfinder panoramic views to be representing a digital field model that is integrated into the application. A database with a summit directory is also included. For these reasons Peakfinder does not require an online connection to allow the panoramic view of representing and works completely offline from everywhere in the mountains.

Press the GPS button at the bottom right to see the mountain panorama from your current position.

By pressing the camera button, you can superimpose the image of your device with the design of the panorama.

Find a protruding mountain nearby or determine the position of the sun. Then drag the panoramic drawing to the right position to the image of the camera.

Use the trigger to take a high resolution photo of your panoramic view. Later, you can edit the photo and share it with your friends.

After pressing the trigger, a mini version of the photo will appear next to the compass. If you press it, you can modify and export the photo with the name of the mountains.

Open the ‘photos’ menu of Peakfinder to refine your images and export them. By zooming or using the telescope, you can identify many new heights. You can also import any image of other sources.

You can display or hide the mountain silhouette by clicking on the mountain symbol in the bottom right corner of the screen. Below you will find the export function. With this button, you can save the photo in the gallery or export it to any destination.

If the panoramic view is unstable or poorly oriented, proceed to the calibration of the compass. Press the icon under the compass to read the instructions.

If the panoramic view is still not aligned correctly after the compass calibration, you can make a manual correction. To do this, just slide the panoramic display in the desired direction. The small point surrounding the symbol of the compass indicates the correction.

If you hold your device vertically, the panorama is automatically oriented according to the direction of the sky.

If you hold your device horizontally, you can manually adjust the panorama using touch gestures.

When you type on the name of a mountain, you get more information on this mountain. If you then type on the bird, you can then ‘fly’ around this mountain.
