Linked to Renault since 1999, Nissan is one of the precursor manufacturers in terms of electric mobility with the Nissan Leaf, one of the most sold electric cars in the world. Launched in 2010, the Japanese electric sedan was fully renewed with a new version whose deliveries started in early 2018 in Europe. With a 40 kWh battery, this second generation will be completed by 2019 by a “long range” version animated by a 60 kWh battery.

Second electric model of the current Nissan range, the E-NV200 was launched in June 2014 on the European market. Available in a utility version or ludospace, the E-NV200 was also renewed in 2018 with the appearance of a new 40 kWh battery.

For the future, Nissan plans to complete its range with a third model. Announced by the IMX concept, this future electric SUV should make its appearance by 2020. On the side of other technologies, the Japanese brand plans to launch several rechargeable hybrid models based on the technology developed by Mitsubishi Motors, bought by the Renault-Nissan Alliance in 2016.
