You can now have fun configuring your future Tesla Model 3

The first Deliveries of Model 3 in Europe – so in France – are getting closer and, to prepare for it, Tesla opened its online configurator this Friday, January 4, 2019. Accessible at this address, it allows you to select a version and personalize it with some options available.

This is above all an opportunity to see the prices of the various configurations of the Model 3, which will first be available with us in Declining Battery Great Autonomy (from 53,500 euros, deduction bonuses) and performance (from 64 300 euros, bonus deduced). How much will cost the most expensive model ?

When the configurator had been launched in North America, we had fun making some simulations. We repeat this exercise to know, in particular, the amount that should be invested to afford the most expensive Model 3. The configuration is made in several steps: choice of version, personalization of the outside (color and rims), selection of an interior (black or white), activation or not of the improved autopilot option and payment of the Deposit (2,000 euros).

Here are our two simulations:

• Model 3 with four -wheel drive, a high autonomy battery (560 km according to the WLTP cycle), a black paint (standard), 18 -inch (standard) rims, a premium black (standard) interior and without option Improved autopilot costs 53,500 euros. It’s the cheapest lot.
• The model 3 performance (530 kilometers depending on the WLTP cycle) with a red paint (+ 2,600 euros), the performance pack (standard), a premium white interior (+ 1,050 euros) and the improved autopilote option (+ 5300 euros) costs 73,250 euros. It’s the most expensive batch.

Note that the Model 3 Performance, configured with all the options, remains cheaper than the most affordable Model S (79,500 euros). However, it has better autonomy, better top speed and better acceleration, without forgetting a size more suited to our roads.
