After the opening of a first station near Lille, Norauto plans to open 135 fast charge stations in 2022.

Norauto becomes a new player in the fast charge in France. The very first terminal was installed in our center of Faches-Thumesnil (59), in December 2021.

Fast charge in norauto car parks

Norauto plans to open 135 fast charge stations out of 135 of their Norauto centers. According to our information, the first fast load hub includes 1 tristandard terminal, with all the most common connectors, as well as 2 CCS terminals. These famous CSS terminals offer a continuous current of 150 kW, which is not the fastest terminal, but what is considered fast load.

More specifically, it is R3 (rapid charging network, a subsidiary of DBT) which is responsible for these stations. The objective of this French group is to cover distributors and resellers, such as supermarkets or DIY brands. They seek to install their network in the parking lots.

The charging price announced is very correct, the price of the load on the R3 network is billed 0.39 euros/kWh to which is added a fixed cost of one euro for each successful charge.

Earlier, in 2021, it was Fastned who settled in France. These new actors compete with the actors already in place, including Totalenergies, Tesla Superchargers and Ionity.
