    2. Top right, click more, then on New private navigation window.

    Important details

    Information stored by other sites

Navigation in private navigation only prevents Google Chrome from storing information on the websites you have visited. The websites you visit can always have recordings of your visit. In addition, all files saved on your computer or mobile devices will always be kept.

For example, if you connect to your Google account in private navigation mode, your Google searches will be saved in your Google web history. In this case, to prevent your searches from being stored in your Google account, you can deactivate your Google web history.

    Differences on iOS

On Chrome for iOS, due to the limitation of the platform, normal tabs and incognito* share local HTML5 storage, which is generally used by sites to store files on your device (Cammer side) or To provide offline features. This means that the same sites can always access their data in this storage in normal tabs and incognito*. Private navigation tabs* will always keep navigation history and separate cookies from normal tabs, which are erased once these tabs are closed.
