• See if your phone is compatible with our network. If your device is not compatible, we have the phone you want.
• If your phone is locked, it should be unlocked. Find out how to unlock your phone.
• Do not deactivate your mobile phone number! We will take care of it for you. If you deactivate it, we will not be able to make the transfer.
• The name on your new Virgin Plus account must be identical to that of your old supplier so that we can make the transfer.
• Make sure to have the following elements in hand before making the transfer:
  • Your account number of your old supplier
  • The serial number of your phone (NSE, SIM/IMED/IIEM depending on the type of phone you have)
  • Buy an online SIM card
  • Visit a Virgin Plus store

  If you already have a Virgin Plus SIM card, you just have to activate it. You have two options:

  • Activate it with a monthly package. You can call 1 888 999-2321 or visit a Virgin Plus store.
  • Activate it with a prepaid package. To do this, activate an online prepaid account. If you have difficulty, you can always give us a phone call to 1 888 999-2321

  Good question. Mobile telephony suppliers “lock” their devices so that they only work with SIM cards connected to their network. Allowing the phone to operate with any SIM card is called “unlocking”.

  For the moment, we cannot unlock it to you. However, you could ask the supplier from which you bought your phone or a third party offering this service. Remember that by unlocking the phone you may cancel the manufacturer’s warranty.

Check the status of your phone any phone whose serial number has been tampered with could be registered in the black list by a third party.
