Mercedes EQC: the electric SUV of a new era
Mercedes-Benz enters a new era, that of the electric car. Discover the new 100% electric SUV: Mercedes EQC. Mercedes-Benz hears, once again, revolutionizing the automobile with the EQC.
To mark its difference, the Mercedes EQC opts for a daring design. The front side has a flagship triptych, grille and unique daytime fires. The optics are connected to each other by a black banner passing under the grille and the latter incorporates a led bar at its top binding it to the LED diurnal lights of the two headlights. This futuristic drawing will not fail to turn the heads.
The rear side of the EQC is all in curves. To make it more dynamic and connected with the front, Mercedes designers have integrated on a strong light signature covering the whole trunk trunk, like what we find at the front. The very fine full led lights and the light banner contribute to the impression of robustness.
The very recognizable headlights of the Mercedes EQC integrate blue elements to accentuate the electrical identity of the SUV. In addition, these full led headlights are also at the cutting edge of technology. EQC has Mercedes-Benz multibeam technology. This matrix lighting technology makes it possible to constantly roll on highway without ever dazzling other users. With multibeam and matrix technologies, each of the 84 LEDs of each lighthouse is controlled individually up to 100 times per second to emit more or less light.
The interior of the Mercedes EQC is technological and very qualitative. To do this, the electric SUV takes up the WIDESCREEN screen which brings together under the same glass plate a first 12.3 -inch screen to replace traditional meters and a second screen of the same dimension grouping entertainment and vehicle management.
The interior is also equipped with very advanced and 100% customizable room lighting with 64 predefined colors.
The colors and materials of the passenger compartment are selected and treated to give a technological and modern appearance to the Mercedes EQC.
Mercedes EQC: Roll in electric
The Mercedes EQC has batteries with a capacity of 80kWh allowing it to travel 374 km (WLTP cycle). These batteries lead to 2 electric motors which each has a specific use: the first engine at the front drives the vehicle smoothly and the engine at the rear comes in reinforcement as soon as the need arises. These engines develop up to 408 horsepower (300kw) and 760 Nm of torque for the Mercedes EQC 400 and allow you to achieve 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds.
The Mercedes EQC uses the CCCS Combo socket standard (Type 2). This allows slow recharge and fast recharging. On a standard domestic outlet the recharging time will be more than 20 hours.
