Mercedes Benz’s electric SUV will not be available in the United States

According to Autoblog following the delay in its American launch, the Mercedes-Benz EQC may not be sold in the United States.

“Following an exhaustive examination of market development, the EQC will not be offered in the United States at the moment,” said a Mercedes spokesman on their website.

Mercedes also confirmed last December that a version seen from the EQS would be built in Alabama from 2022 followed by a second SUV baptized EQE. There was also talk of starting the production of an EQS sedan in Germany later this year.
