The LG C8 was among the best possible choices in 2018. The LG C9 takes over quite logically. Without creating a chasm that deserves to go back to the checkout, the television is based on the forces of the OLED and the ever -increasing mastery of LG when offering a pleasant user experience. The arrival of artificial intelligence, more there to build muscle while waiting for a future placed under the sign of 8K, is not a revolution.
No doubt, 2019 is a very good vintage for the signed LGs. Year after year, the Korean manufacturer has managed to erase the faults of its slabs to finally achieve a very satisfactory result. Like the E9, whose performance we had praised, the C9 makes a very good copy. Excellent on image quality, serious on design and creative on the interface part, it has almost no faults.
In short, the C9 is an excellent TV that still refines OLED technology, offers the lowest latency on the market (perfect for video games), first quality connectors with HDMI 2.1 and improves its image processing a little more. But even if he offers some new sympathetic new functions, he still lacks certain applications and we believe that the new features do not necessarily justify his price.

What are the best OLED 4K TV in 2023 ?
OLED is considered queen technology for a television thanks to its contrasts. We have selected the best OLED TV that we have tested to allow you to make the best possible choice.
The top 3 of the best TVs OLED 4K in 2023
- A brighter slab and a very good anti-reflective treatment
- Google TV
- A quality sound rendering
- The absence of Dolby Vision IQ
- The brightest
- Impeccable in gaming
- Optimized webos 23
- Very expensive
- Excellent light

In this selection, we have gathered the best OLED TVs on the market tested by us. In 2023, it is this technology that generally offers the best image quality and the most beautiful contrasts.
OLED nevertheless has a disadvantage: with identical diagonals, it is more expensive than the rest. In other words, all OLED TVs are high -end products. The market has long been confined to the 55 -inch and more slabs, but the situation began to change in 2020 with the arrival of 48 -inch OLED TV at LG. For 2023, it is however the very large sizes that are in the spotlight. Overall, the offer has still expanded, which always benefits the consumer.
In addition, the OLED continues to evolve, as LG was able to demonstrate during CS 2023 with its META technology to drastically increase the brightness of its slabs, up to 2,100 cd/m². Its new generation of more ambitious OLED TV is detailed and remains without compromise.
If you choose to opt for another technology, take a look at our guide of the best QLED TV.

LG OLED65G3 The Best OLED TV of 2023
- The brightest
- Impeccable in gaming
- Optimized webos 23
- Very expensive
With the LG OLEDG3, the Korean manufacturer has several raw improvements for high -flying display performance. However, this new model remains quite sober in terms of design since the TV OLED LG looks like it is mistaken for the previous version. Note that with the Vesa standard on your back, it is possible to hang this TV on a wall.
The main contribution of this new model is hidden in terms of its slab. This is a white évo white made by LG Display. It has a micro lens array filter in order to improve general brightness: this results in our measurements with an impressive peak recorded at 1430 CD/m2, a record. During our views, the scaling turned out to be excellent and the compensation for satisfactory movement. The LG OLED is compatible HLG, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision IQ. Finally, an anti -reflective filter is also in place.
In addition to perfect use for everyday life, the LG Oled65g3 turns out to be an excellent gaming TV. First thanks to the presence of 4 HDMI 2 ports.1, but also to VRR, Allm, Freesync Premium and GSYNC compatibilities. The time of latency at stake is 9.1 ms, which is the lowest ever measured by us. If you have a new generation console, this TV is ideal.
The last element of this OLED TV lies in its animation. It is webos 23 that leads everything to the baguette with a multitude of functions to help you in your daily consumption. The LG OLEDG3 is available in several sizes: 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches for a price range oscillating between 2699 and 7499 euros. If you want to learn more about the best OLED TV on the market, read our LG OLEDG3 test.

To avoid paying too expensive an OLED LG TV, our advice is to turn to previous generations which are still in stock. This is the case with the LG G2, certainly a little less efficient, but above the lot in the face of competition from OLED TV. If you want to save money, this is our tip. Panasonic TX-65LZ2000E The OLED 65 inch high-end TV
- Excellent light
- Almost perfect colorimetry
- Very successful audio component
- No DTS
With this new generation of televisions, Panasonic still perfects its OLED TV. The manufacturer delivers a very successful copy with the OLED TX-65LZ2000E TV.
This new model uses a Master OLED PRO slab, with White OLED technology and an anti -reflective filter. Panasonic worked on brightness, a recurring concern for the OLED: here we find a maximum peak at 1028 cd/m², which makes it one of the brightest currently. With good movement compensation, gives a very fluid image. The colorimetric cover is also excellent, at 6488 k (the reference being 6,500 k).
The TV is excellent for those who wish to play on their TV. We thus note a Input Lag very low at 9.3 ms, which offers good responsiveness. We may regret that there are only two HDMI 2 ports.1, which are perfect for video games.
As a recent number of TVs, this model is HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision compatible. Note that Panasonic’s house interface is fluid and pleasant to use, just like the remote control. We also salute the audio component which is excellent, which is rather rare for a television. The speakers are directed to the ceiling and the sides, which allows you to enjoy the Dolby Atmos.
To find out more, take a look at our full test of the Panasonic TX-65LZ2000E. Note that different sizes are available for OLED TV, including 55 inch, 65 and 77.

Philips 65led937 The best TV Oled Philips
- Image quality contrast
- An Ambilight system
- Its sound quality
- A gaming part back
On the sector of High -end OLED TV, Philips offers several series of models. OLED937 takes up all the lines of the previous model, but with some improvements. As always, a Bowers & Wilkins sound bar is integrated and offers a quality audio part.
The real strong point of the High -end TV is the quality of its image. Indeed, the Philips Oled937 incorporates a White Oled slab produced by LG Display. As with all devices using the OLED, the vision angles offered are very wide. The image delivered is very detailed with an excellent dive. It offers good light while keeping deep blacks. The colorimetric cover is also faithful.
Among our measurements, we found a Delta E of 2.16, a color temperature of 6263 k as well as a brightness pointing to 840 CD/m2. The video game game is also in place. You are entitled to two HDMI 2 ports.1, and several compatibility: VRR, Allm, Freesync Premium and GSYNC. We also measured a Input Lag 20.5 ms. Philips Oled937 is the bad student of TV OLED GAMING.
As with all the brand’s models, Ambilight technology allows better immersion, whatever the content watched. With Android TV As software for daily use, we can regret that menus management is a little too deep. The question of the price is thorny since for the 65 inch TV, This is displayed at 3,490 euros.

LG OLED65C3 The most balanced OLED TV
- Very good image quality
- Advanced gaming functions
- An improved software part
- Still fragile audio quality
In line with the LG OLEDC2, the C3 series does not bring large revolutions on OLED TV from LG. This new model changes almost nothing in terms of design with always fine borders. The central foot leaves enough space to place an LG sound bar and improve sound quality. The VESA standard placed on the back allows you to place the TV on a wall.
Regarding the interface in place, it is an OLED EVO 10 -bit slab already present on the C2. The television is thus capable of displaying an ultra HD definition with a frequency of 100/120 Hz at the key. As always the angles of vision are excellent as is the management of the contrast. On our measurements, the maximum brightness was recorded at 835 cd/², while the color temperature is 6484 k or close to the standard value. The colors are natural, the images are detailed and the scaling is good.
In terms of connectors, you are entitled to 4 HDMI 2 entries.1, including an EARC. These ports are essential for new generation consoles. TV is Freesync Premium, G-Sync and Hgig compatible; It also has VRR and Allm optimizations. The C3 supports ultra HD signals at 120 images per second as well as the Dolby Vision up to 120 Hz. When the game optimizer is calibrated, it is possible to reach a Input Lag 9.2 ms.
As with many TVs on the market, the audio part is slightly behind. LG has thought of the Wow Orchestra function which allows you to exploit the TV speakers as well as the LG soundbar in place. Webos 23 adjusts to all your needs. OLED LG TV is available in several sizes from 42 to 83 inch. The price ranged between 1599 and 6499 euros. Sony XR-65A90J The return of TV Sony OLED
- A brighter slab and a very good anti-reflective treatment
- Google TV
- A quality sound rendering
- The absence of Dolby Vision IQ
With the adoption of OLED LG tiles for its highest -end models, Sony made a remarkable return to the small very high -end television market. And this 2021 cuvée of their flagship is no exception. The XR-65A90J pays the luxury of adopting the same latest generation OLED screen as the LG G1 ! Unlike the latter who seeks to be as discreet as possible, the XR-65A90J adopts a much more surprising design, with two fairly massive feet coming to land on each side of the TV. If the manufacturing quality is obviously impeccable, the whole is relatively imposing and will not necessarily appeal to all. The fact remains that this weakness can be easily bypassed by hanging the screen on the wall.
We were waiting at the turn the new generation of OLED LG slabs. The Korean was indeed promised an improvement in brightness, one of the rare points of weakness of the OLED screens. And it is to admit that the bet is held, and the progress notable, since we have reached a peak of brightness of 1300 cd/m² !
But where Sony is distinguished, it is with the quality of anti -reflective treatment, the latter is quite effective so that one is no longer obliged to systematically close its curtains. Coupled with an increase in brightness, this greatly improves daily readability. On the colorimetry side, things are perfect in HDR mode and good in SDR.
Unfortunately, everything is not perfect, especially for players. The delay in display is higher than competition and especially the support of HDMI 2.1 is not complete. The VRR in particular is missing, even if Sony promises that it will be brought by an update. It’s still a little surprising when you know that this function is one of the most practical in PlayStation 5 of the same manufacturer ..
Acoustic surface technology, which vibrates the screen to use it as a speaker, makes its return in improved version here. The rendering is very correct for integrated, but a dedicated solution remains our preference. We always appreciate the presence of Google TV as much. Google’s OS shines with its software offer and a very pleasant interface to use.
The XR-65A90J therefore stands out as a very good OLED TV, cut above all for cinema, but its partial management of HDMI 2.1 makes it less versatile than its direct competitors. Too bad especially in view of its price … Before going to the checkout, we can therefore only recommend that you read our test of the Sony XR-65A90J.
The A90J series is available in 55, 65 and 83 inches:
