Samsung Wallet is an application that brings together in one place all the essential elements of your daily life (keys, credit cards, boarding cards, tickets, etc.) in order to make your life easier and avoid switching from one application to another.

The Samsung Wallet application is the safest and fast way to pay with your smartphone both online or in store.

However, this application goes beyond the simple payment. Indeed, it brings together the Samsun Pay and Samsung Pass applications that you can combine together in order to store your passwords, addresses and card data to facilitate your navigation and your online purchases while also integrating your cards management payment, keys, boarding cards, etc.

It is also important to know that Samsung Wallet is only compatible with the Samsung Galaxy devices, with an Android 9 version at least and having the NFC function and biometric and safety data.

Compatible devices

The Samsung Wallet application is compatible with the devices below.

• Galaxy A: A34 5G, A54 5G, A53, A52 5G, A52S 5G, A72, A22 4G, A20E, A40, A41, A42 5G, A32, A50, A51, A70, A71, A80, A7, A8, A9, , A6+, A5 (2017).

The devices below are compatible with Samsung Pay, but do not yet support Samsung Wallet.

How to use Samsung Wallet to Make A Payment

If you have added at least one card to samsung pay, you can access samsung wallet by Swiping up From the Bottom of the Display on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen. You can also access samsung pay when phone is locked, and the display is off. To make a payment using samsung pay, here is what you need to do:

1 Swipe up from the Bottom of the Display (from the Home Screen or Lock Screen) to open Samsung Wallet. Your Default Debit or Credit Card Will Show Up on the Screen. If you have multiple cards set up, Simply Swipe Left or Right to Switch to the Card You Wish to Use Use.

2 To enter mode fashion, tap the Fingerprint gold Iris Button If you have Samsung Wallet Secured with the biometric sensor, or the “pin” button if you want to enter your pin. Once Your Card is added to Samsung Pay, it will be activated by the Payment Card Network (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) and the card from on average, activation will take place 5-10 minutes after any additional verification requirements have been put, such as seering your one-time password (OTP). Much more than a simple payment service

Guaranteed security thanks to Samsung Knox

Samsung Wallet is protected by Samsung Knox, the defense standards safety platform [10] . Protections include recognition of fingerprints and encryption which protects sensitive data, so that only the owner of the device can access his important information. In addition to Samsung Knox, the information recorded in Samsung Wallet is encrypted and stored in isolated environments, whether it is the “Trusted Execution Environment” (Confidence execution environment) or the “Embedded Secure Element” (embedded secure environment), an inviolable chip that resists digital and physical hacking.

Even in the event of loss of their phone, users have peace of mind knowing that everything stored in their Samsung Wallet is protected by Samsung Knox and Biometric Authentication. Samsung Wallet is available today in six markets: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and United States.
