Faster thanks to Intel 12th generation processors

People already equipped with an XPS 15 of previous generation will undoubtedly go their way. But for the others, it is a welcome update.

Indeed, the core i5-12500h, core i7-12700h and the core i9-12900hk are significantly more velocious than their predecessors and even if they cannot provide their full potential due to a cooling system that flirts in permanence with thermal limits. On the GPU side, no change, the GeForce RTX 3050 (or RTX 3050 Ti as a function of the chosen declination) are always in the game.

What meet the needs of casuals gamers but also and above all, photographers, videographers and other content creators who use more and more software (Lightroom, Première Pro, Davinci resolves, etc.) capable of relying on a graphics card dedicated to accelerate certain tasks and rendered.

The new XPS 15 9520 does not revolutionize the Ultrabook Star of Dell. Difficult to reinvent a laptop which is already a benchmark on its segment it is true. Often quoted as the best Windows alternative to MacBook Pro 16, Dell XPS can count on superior modularity and more affordable rates (although premium).

But competition is now more present, especially in Asus and MSI who intend to not give way on the niche of premium laptops intended for creatives (allergic to gaming laptops).
