Orange was the first French operator to offer ESIM to its customers. All 4G and 5g orange mobile packages and SOSH subscriptions are compatible with ESIM. ESIM activation prices are the same as those of the physical sim card (€ 10 when ordering). If you renew a new ESIM card: Your ESIM profile is active one hour after validation of your order. After this hour, you can remove the SIM card from your mobile phone and restart to finalize activation.

In case of difficulties to scan the QR code, you can enter it manually from the menu of your mobile phone with the data from your QR code (SM-DP Addresses + Activation Code).

Your QR code can be re-used when you change ESIM compatible mobile phone (see below, for the transfer of your ESIM) . In the event of a problem to scan or reuse your QR code, contact SFR customer service for any questions.

What to do if I encounter a problem with my esim ?

If you cannot make an call or send an SMS, you do not have access to the mobile or other Internet, go to an SFR store or contact SFR customer service.

The transfer of an ESIM from one phone to another, is possible using your previous QR code. If you don’t have it anymore, you can find it in your SFR customer area, section My offer And My phone> Mobile> SIM card> Activate your ESIM SIM card.

To know : QR code is kept for a year in your SFR customer area. If it no longer appears in your customer area, and if you have not saved it, we invite you to contact customer service or to renew a new physical SIM card.

To transfer or install your ESIM:

• Then scan your QR code with your new mobile.

What should I do if I sell my mobile phone to a loved one ?

If you sell your mobile phone with ESIM profile, you must first make sure your line is working properly on your new mobile phone.

When your line will operate on your new mobile, you can carry out the following operations: Load an ESIM profile on your new mobile after validating a code on your old mobile phone).

It is necessary to delete your ESIM profile before putting the mobile back to your loved one. This procedure will permanently delete your ESIM profile and the associated data.

On iOS, ESIM settings and profiles can be manually configured in the “Settings” menu then “Cellular Data” of Apple terminals. An automatic procedure is even faster and simple via a QR code:

• Recover the QR code on your customer area or via the dedicated application of your operator,
• Scan the QR code using the phone’s camera,
• Click on the notification message “Cellular package detected” then on “Continue”,
• Press “Add a new package”,
• Enter the confirmation code (provided by your operator or available in your customer area) then indicate the default PIN code (usually 0000 or 1234),
• Restart the phone and change the SIM code.
