What is fiber connection ?

Is the fiber optical connection free or paying ?

To install fiber optics at home or connect your accommodation to fiber, you must subscribe to a fiber offer. But before changing your ADSL box for a fiber box, it is important to know that this change in technology can cause connection costs. Then, who pays the work ?

Connection costs are supported by operators for apartments and buildings. We are talking about vertical deployment made by a building operator. The Internet access provider you have chosen then freely connects your apartment.

The prices of the SFR connection are higher for housing of less than 4 dwellings: 149 euros for the underground connection to the fiber of a single house and 299 euros in the event of aerial connection. Furthermore, if it is necessary to place chutes to hide the path of the fiber partly private, the operator charges each linear meter 14.40 euros each linear meter.

With the SFR operator, you have the choice between three fiber internet subscriptions: SFR Starter, SFR Power and SFR Premium. SFR Box Fiber offers are also available at a reduced price in the first year of subscription.

You are eligible for fiber at Free ? Good news, free fiber connection is free in apartment as in individual houses. How much is the connection to the Bouygues Telecom fiber ?
