Cut an image in a form, such as a circle

Start with a shape and add an image to it

4. When you have finished, press escape or click anywhere in the document, apart from the image.

Use the Modify Points tool to modify or cut the shape

Although the scoring tools are not available for forms, you can use the tool Change points To personalize a shape.

1. Select the shape you want to modify.

3. Slide the top points (black dots around the perimeter of the shape) until the shape has the desired appearance.

Crop to adjust to a shape or fill it

Once you have added an image to a shape, you can choose the way the image adapts to the shape using the tools Adjust And Fill To refine the setting.

1. In your file, select the image you want inside the shape.
2. Under the tab Image format, click on the arrow next to Crop. (If you don’t see the tabImage format, Check that you have selected an image (not a shape).))
3. Click on Filling Or Adjust, Then click outside the image.
   

   Option	Description
   Filling	Deletes (or “roguers”) part of the image, but always fills the whole form.
   Adjustment	Allows the whole image to adapt to the form. The proportions of the original image are kept, but it may be an empty space inside the shape.

Word: Adjust an image inside a shape

Word for the web does not have the “cutting in form” functionality of the desktop application, but you can always use fast image styles to apply basic shapes to an image, as described here:

1. Insert the image into your document. (Select Insert >picture , Then access the image you want to use.))
2. Once the image selected on the canvas, select the tab Picture ribbon, then open the gallery Image styles ::
3. Select a shape to apply it to your image.

PowerPoint: to cut an image in shape

1. Select an image on a slide to cut on a form.
2. Under the tab Picture, at the right end, select the arrow next to Crop.

Advice : If you don’t see the tab Picture , Be sure to select an image.
