The PlayStation ™ Network (PSN) is an online service that allows you to appreciate your console even more. To connect to the PSN, you need an account and an Internet connection.

Connect to the PlayStation Network

• The connection screen appears when you try to access online features or services on your PS5 console.
• You can also access the connection screen by going to the home screen and selecting Settings >Users and accounts >Account >Connection.

1. Access Settings >Account management >Connection.
2. Enter your connection ID (e-mail address) and password>Confirm.

If you have not already done so, you will be invited to activate your PlayStation 4 console as a main console. The two possible options are Yes And Do not activate.

Connection with 2 -step verification

If the verification in 2 steps (2SV) is activated, you will need, when connection on your PlayStation console, enter a password and a verification code that you will receive on your mobile phone by SMS or via an application D ‘authentication. Connection / Disconnection

To use this feature, you may have to update system software.

When you open a PSN SM session, you are connected and can use the various online services available on PSN SM . When you close the session, you are disconnected from the network.

Upline (connection)

Select (PlayStation ™ Network)> (connection).

Enter your connection ID (e-mail address) and password.
Enter the connection ID (e-mail address) and the recorded password when you have created your Sony Entertainment Network account.

Select [Connection].
You are connected once your network connection has succeeded.

Advice

You are automatically disconnected when you read a Blu-ray Disc (BD), DVD or software in PlayStation®2 format.

Notice

• Certain software titles may in PlayStation®2 or PlayStation® format work differently with the PS3 ™ system compared to PlayStation®2 or PlayStation® systems, or that they do not work properly with the PS3 ™ system.
• Disks in PlayStation®2 format cannot be read on certain PS3 ™ systems. For more information, see [Readable discs], visit the SIE website in your region or see the documentation that accompanies your PS3 ™ system.

Get offline (disconnection)

Select (account management) Sous (PlayStation ™ Network), press the key, then select [Disconnection] from the Options menu. You will then be disconnected from PSN SM .
