- User experience at the top (App Sound+ Claire and Complete).
- Comfortable despite an intrusive intra-ear design.
- Very good autonomy (almost 9 hours with active noise reduction).
- Sound restitution that would benefit from being more natural, softer.

The Elite 7 PROs are in line with the old models of headphones True Wireless jabra. Regulars will not be lost and will find the lively and energetic sound signature as well as the full experience of use that has made the reputation of the Danish manufacturer. Despite a slight improvement, the active noise reduction remains a significant weakness, especially in view of what competition offers in this niche.

- Clean and balanced sound.
- Impressive serious, very dynamic, without any overflow.
- Very effective noise reduction overall, especially in low frequencies.
- Manufacturing quality, IPX4 certification.
- Remarkable maintenance, good comfort (although not quite universal).
- Excellent hand-free kit, capture of almost impossible voice to default.
- Chemical treble, sound lacking in space and articulation.
- Less skillful noise reduction in the erasure of human voices.
- Very large and thick storage box.
- Lacunary commands: no volume adjustment, no return to the previous track.
- Very high broadcast latency (almost 400 ms).
Bose QC Earbuds can narrowly get a better note. Despite a noise reduction which also also available on the market (but does not exceed them), a somewhat too large quantity of missteps – at the forefront of which are frankly incomplete orders – prevents us from recommending these headphones without any reserve. However, they will be able to attract the favors of the addicts to the phone thanks to their remarkable voice capture in hand-free kit mode.

- Graves and wise and well -controlled mediums.
- Good respect for stamps.
- Minimalist and discreet design, impeccable manufacturing quality.
- Good comfort sensations.
- Lack of precision of high mediums/acute.
- Function “amplification of bass” not sufficiently controlled.
- No volume control from headphones.
- Advanced settings reserved for terminals under Android.
Google once again offers convincing headphones who will delight their buyers. The Pixel Buds A-Series almost identify the characteristics of the pixel Buds “just”, so much so that it becomes impossible to advise them as long as they cost the double. But even with their undeniable ergonomic and acoustic assets, the Pixel Buds A-SERIES can only be recommended for a specific audience. IOS users have no interest in obtaining them, while on Android competition is fierce. We advise to put them in competition with the Jabra Elite 65T, less discreet, but more versatile and more accessible, or with the Huawei Frebuds 4i.

After a long period without new features on the field of sports headphones, Bose makes a remarkable return with these Earbuds sports. On the menu, therefore, intra “True Wireless” particularly compact that hold perfectly in the ear.
Their design prevents them from entering as far as the average in the auditory channel. This results in greater comfort, but in return they are also insulating less from the outside world.

Beats PowerBeats Pro The best headphones to run
- Excellent sound quality
- A range of 9 hours
- IPX4 certified
- Big box too big
All the joggers Who one day tried the pro powerbeats will tell you: these are the best wireless headphones for running. With their imposing arch and their massive design, you will have a cyborg look by wearing them, but what you lose in sex appeal during sport, you gain it in comfort of use and stability. Even with the head down, PowerBeats Pro will never leave your ears.
PowerBeats are intra-ear headphones designed to adapt to all types of ears. The arch is thus adjustable and four types of tips are provided with these headphones. They are also very light and resistant to water projections (IPX4 and even a little more in fact) and therefore perspiration.
Regarding sound quality, you should know that, like the Jabra Elite Active 75, PowerBeats Pro do not benefit from an active noise reduction technology. These are also headphones that tend to highlight the bass, but without abusing them as the old helmets of the brand once had the reputation. No sound equalizer either within the application, but an overall excellent sound quality which lends itself well to rhythmic music.
These headphones are not lacking in endurance: the announced autonomy is 9 hours, but they held almost 11 hours during our test. For more details, go to our PowerBeats Pro test.
Product held by Apple obliges, promotions are rare, but it is sometimes possible to find them around 200 euros sometimes a year. Until then, you will find them at 249 euros.

Update of 09/15/2023
In September 2023, Active Jabra Elite 7 remain for us the best headphones for sport. But the new active Jabra Elite 8, which we will test soon, could delight them first place. These new Danish manufacturer’s sport headphones are announced as very resistant and comfortable with also real qualities in terms of its. To find out more, go next month to find out if this top 5 best models for running and sport has changed. And as usual, those who wish can find our advice to choose the right earphones for sport at the bottom of this article, just after selection.
1. Jabra Elite 7 Active, the best headphones for sport, simply
This model is one of the few to benefit from total sealing thanks to its IP57 certification. The brand also uses a specific anti-referral coating for more protection. This robust model is thus intended for athletes with a sustained practice. In addition to this aspect, the active Elite 7 are also very good headphones, quite independent, comfortable, but with good hold in the ears and a good audio quality. If you have a mode of transparency to hear the surrounding noises, which will be practical for running in town for example. They also have an active noise reduction.
For its latest sports headphones, Jabra has taken up the recipe that made the Elite Active 75T success and refined it. The Jabra Elite 7 active are therefore a great success and very good companions for sport, but not that. They take advantage of effective microphones, a completely waterproof anti-transpiration coating (IP57), of an excellent level of comfort, appreciable physical controls, of a quality and fully customizable sound restitution thanks to various very practical tools and ‘an application always at the top of what is currently done on the market. Too bad the RBA too light and the slightly noticeable latency in video come to tarnish the table a little. However, in spite of a slightly lower call quality, they offer in our opinion a better quality / price ratio than the pro version and even prove to be our headphones for favorite sport.
2. Beats Fit Pro, the best sports headphones for iPhone
The Beats Fit Pro are the airpods pro version sport that we were looking forward to. Indeed, these wireless headphones are just as pleasant to use with an iPhone thanks to the H1 chip and take advantage of the location functionality allowing to easily find its iproduits to the nearest a few meters. On a daily basis, we appreciate their remarkable outfit in the ears as well as their featherweight (5.6 gr each). Fit Pro are also water resistant (IPX4), which means that they are not afraid of water, has a correct RBA and audio quality better than that of the AirPods Pro.
With quality sound, advanced functions (even Android) and a design designed for athletes (IPX4 water resistance), Beats Fit Pro are a real success and perhaps even the best Apple headphones to date. Close to AirPods Pro, they are the sporting Apple headphones we expected and a viable and a little more affordable alternative to the AirPods. Like PowerBeats Pro and of course the Airpods, the Pro Pro embeds the excellent Apple H1 chip which manages active noise, among other things. Regarding autonomy, we are in the low average with around 6 hours when the RBA is disabled. The transport box allows you to recover three full charges via USB-C. All this for a more reasonable price than Apple stamped models. A very nice proposal from the brand.
3. Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, the most versatile headphones
Samsung’s wireless headphones have never really thrilled us until the arrival of the Galaxy Buds Pro. This premium model, IPX7 certified in passing therefore completely waterproof, stands out with impeccable comfort even in prolonged use and excellent audio quality with powerful bass and an active noise reduction almost at the level of the best. The “surrounding sound” mode allows headphones to automatically lower the volume if people tell you closely, which is as practical outside as indoors. These headphones will also allow you to watch your favorite series without latency during your training carpets. With a foolproof versatility, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are therefore as effective in the gym as in the street, public transport or the house.
With the Galaxy Buds Pro, Samsung finally draws a pair of True Wireless headphones capable of competing with the Cadors of the Sectors, both in terms of its and functionalities. These headphones indeed embark everything that can be expected from a high -end model, starting with a much better sound than that of previous models, an effective active noise reduction system (the brand was very late in this area), touch controls, a compact case operating in USB-C or by induction (Qi) and even a completely waterproof design. We will also retain some interesting advanced functions such as the detection of the voice so that the music cuts when we speak or the game mode with low latency. Everything is not pink obviously, their autonomy of 5 hours is not incredible, certain functions such as the game mode are reserved for users of galaxy smartphones, the companion application is unavailable on iOS, the controls are incomplete and the design n ‘ is not perfectly suited to all morphologies. Nevertheless, these are clearly the most successful True Wireless of the brand.
4. Jabra Elite 3, the best sports earphones at a low price
To arrive at such a tight sale price, Jabra had to make concessions as on the RBA, the anti-surface coating or the wireless load. Although appreciable, it is possible for sporting use to do without these features, with the exception perhaps of the most diligent sportsmen who will prefer the presence of real protection against perspiration. Nevertheless, the Danish brand does not sacrifice the comfort of use and audio quality. Note that they are IP55 certified, which corresponds to a “simple” protection against rain. You can nevertheless clean the sweat after use by passing them in the water.
First True Wireless Jabra headphones launched below 100 €, the Elite 3 again show the mastery of the Danish manufacturer in this market segment where he is a pioneer. Although they are devoid of active noise reduction (RBA), that they get deadlocked on the multipoint and that their application has been stripped of a lot of functions, these headphones offer a simply excellent quality/price ratio. Their audio quality carried by the high quality codec Qualcomm Aptx is very satisfactory, their Bluetooth 5 connection.2 is reliable and allows you to use any of the headphones independently, their physical orders are simple and effective and their satisfactory autonomy reaches 6:30 on a more 25 hour load thanks to the case. For the price requested, Jabra therefore offers very good services.
5. Apple AirPods 3, the best non -intra sport headphones
Like active jabra Elite 7, the latest Apple Airpods embark on a specific anti-transpiration coating (in addition to IPX4 certification) which protects them against the most extreme sports sessions. In addition, this is one of the last non-intra-ear models. People who do not support this more invasive format (since the earrings must be inserted into the ear canal) will be delighted. Nevertheless, you should know that in return the headphones hold a little less well in the ears, offer less rich sound, especially in low frequencies, and do not isolate external noises (which is however practical in the street).
Airpods 3 are very good quality open headphones, a rather rare species. Of course, you can find correct open headphones for around 50/60 €. However, AirPods 3 have not only better sound, but they also have additional features such as space audio. And they are also perfect for making calls. So, if you are looking for excellent open headphones, they can be worth it, even if as said above, you should also consider AirPods 2, more reasonable in terms of. On the other hand, if you make fun of having open headphones or closed in-ear, then know that you can get better sound and passive or active insulation effective in transport for much cheaper.
Our advice for choosing the right
What are the specifics of sports use ?
Choosing completely wireless headphones (True Wireless) is a good idea, the latter offer the most freedom of movement, making it allies of choice for your training. However, know that there are two other key points to observe in your quest for headphones for sport. First, good hold in the ears is essential, you would not want to lose your equipment. But we will come back to this point a little lower in the dedicated part in formats. Then it is imperative that your headphones be to the test of perspiration. Otherwise, they will wear out faster and could even make the soul prematurely. Some products are IPX4,5,6 or more certified, it is towards them that we advise you to direct you.
What audio signature ?
Like a helmet, a pair of headphones broadcasts its own sound with its audio signature, its color. Thus, a model may insist much more on the bass or on the treble than another, while some headphones diffuse a more balanced sound. The style of music you listen to will condition your purchase. Prefer powerful bass for hip-hop or electro for example, and more balanced signatures for classical music (this is not an absolute rule !)).
Which format to choose ?
The most widespread headphones adopt an intrauricular format. In other words, they enter the auditory duct. If you are not used to using this type of headphones, we advise you to try if possible the model that interests you before buying it, in order to verify that it is suitable for your morphology. If the headphones are too big for your ears, they will hurt you and will not hold up well in place. If they are too small, ditto concerning the outfit in the ears, but in addition you will lose the low frequencies of the sound and will be less well isolated. In addition, some do not support this type of headphones, we advise you if this is your case to opt for a model with a different format.
What are the essential orders ?
Another point, orders. At least, True Wireless headphones should allow you to put music in play/break, and change the volume, or the song listening. But the best allow the three at a time ! Some also offer other functions, settings or activation of a voice assistant for example. Finally, be aware that because of their format (microphone more distant from the mouth), these headphones are generally less efficient in a hands -free kit and controls can be less practical than with conventional headphones, with a remote control the cable.
What type of wireless connection ?
Before the arrival of Bluetooth 5.0, connection with Bluetooth 4.XX confronted us either with a lack of stability, or with significant latency among True Wireless headphones. This is why other manufacturers have used the NFMI for the connection between the two headphones, which gives a more stable connection and a low latency. However, this system prevents sharing your music with a friend. But the arrival of Bluetooth 5.0 and the first headphones that are really part of it (some have Bluetooth 5.0 that the name) have really changed the situation, by offering the advantages of Bluetooth and NFMI without their respective disadvantages. It is therefore imperative to opt for Bluetooth 5 headphones if they are True Wireless.
What type of insulation ?
The insulation of headphones is determined by design on the one hand (intra-ear isolate more than supra-ear, generally open), and by the presence or not of an active noise reduction system. In the case of sport earphones, active noise reduction is not essential. Its opposite, often called transparency or ambient or hearthrough mode, can be very useful on the other hand if you are used to running in the street. The latter will amplify the ambient noises, you can continue to hear traffic which is more reassuring. This is a function that we find on many models these days. In the dining room, the reduction in active noise can be interesting but know that the models with an effective system are generally expensive.
What augartance ?
The True Wireless headphones are always equipped with a storage and load box which allows, if you do it well, never to be short of battery. Nowadays, we can expect its headphones to hold at least 4 hours and integrate 2 or more charges in their box. There is less, there is more, but for us, it is in any case the minimum.
