Abarth 500 R230 Stradale
Among the most extreme preparations, we find that of Lucarelli. The fruit of their work is called “500 R230 Stradale” and it is the only 500 Abarth with a central and propulsion engine. The whole rear part of the car was reviewed.
The engine is always the same, namely the 1.4 -liter four -cylinder, the power of which was increased to 240 horsepower and 330 nm of torque. It only takes 4.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h.
G-Tech Abarth 500 Sportster
For those who are not only looking for performance, but are also very concerned on the aesthetic side, there is the Abarth 500 Sportster by G-TECH. The preparer has notably revised some elements of the body, including the cutting of the roof to give it a more dynamic appearance.
But the modifications are not only aesthetic. The Abarth 500 Sportster by G-TEC is available in three versions, always with the small four-cylinder 1.4 liter, and a power raised to 224 horsepower, then 250 horsepower for the RS sports and 340 horsepower for the sports RGT.
Pogea Racing Ares 500
If it is the pure power you are looking for, then the choice can only be focused on the Pogea Racing Ares 500. Its carbon fiber wheel passages widen the car of almost 5 centimeters, while under the hood, the small 1.4 liter turbo receives many modifications: the bushy, the connecting rods, the pistons, the turbo and the tree transmission, all these elements have been modified. The result ? 404 horsepower and 457 nm of torque.
With only 977 kilos on the scale, a reinforced gearbox and a self -locking mechanical differential, the car slaps 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 288 km/h.
Romeo Ferraris Fatfive
It is surely the most famous modified 500 Abarth of all: the Fatfive signed Romeo Ferraris, a real 500 treated with steroids, offered in three different variants, which all have in common an extravagant aesthetic kit, and also available in fiber carbon, so as to reduce the weight of the 60 -kilo car.
The first version is the Fatfive 160, with the 1.4 liter of 160 horsepower and 230 nm of torque. Then there is the Fatfive 210, with 210 horsepower and 310 Nm, then the Fatfive 248, the most powerful, with the same engine, but a power brought to 248 horsepower, 330 Nm, a 0 to 100 km/h shot in 5 , 5 seconds and a maximum speed of 240 km/h.
G-Tech 500 Evo 350 Hybrid
Today, there is a lot of talk about electrification and preparers must therefore adapt to the evolution of the market. The G-Tech 500 EVO 350 Hybrid is its name, is inspired by modern hybrid supercars and offers an electrified powertrain that combines two electric motors and the classic 1.4 liter cylinder of the Abarth 595.
The two electric motors are mounted at the rear axle, making it a four -wheel drive. The two electric blocks add an additional power of 110 horsepower and especially a gigantic torque of 650 nm. Thus, the combined power reaches 350 horsepower and a torque of 980 Nm. It is even possible, according to the trainer, to travel around 60 kilometers in 100 % electric mode.

The small 500 Abarth, which is based on the Fiat 500 released in 2007, appeared on the market in 2008 for the first time. However, even today, This model still acts as a reference in the sports city car category, Particularly because competition is almost inexistent today because of environmental standards, but also because, despite its age, it remains an excellent little sportswoman.
Abarth has also been able to develop its product thanks to different versions, special series, and even fairly exclusive models, of which The famous abarth 695 biposto of 180 horsepower and equipped with a flashbox. A model that we had the opportunity to take charge a few years ago, and which remains, even today, one of our favorites in terms of sports car.
In addition to the Abarth brand strictly speaking, some preparers have also looked into the case of this small 500, with the only limits their imagination visibly. Proof of it is, out of the five abarth that we present to you today, The least powerful is 240 horsepower. That is to say already 60 horsepower more than the most powerful of serial abarth. As for the most powerful, we dare to imagine the machine that it must be, with more than 400 horsepower under the hood of a city car who barely exceeds.
Abarth 595 Hercules: 220 hp and an impressive style
Knowing that the Abarth 595 develops 180 horsepower in its “Competizione” configuration, so 40 horses are won thanks to Pogea Racing which presents its tuning type program as an Abarth 595 Hercules, just that ! Before returning to the engine of the latter, let’s focus on its rather “ferocious” design.
At the front, the hood of this Abarth 595 Hercules reveals two unpublished air entrances and … that’s all. On the other hand, seen from profile, the Citadine at Scorpion reveals huge wing enlargeers as well as cash flows. As for the rims, they are 18 inch size and mounted by Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
Fans of the powerful Italian will, of course, have noticed that the car is much lower than the Standard Abarth 595. This gives, in figures, 45 mm less thanks to a specific suspension.
In the back, it’s a fin turn to make its contribution to the Racing look of this Abarth 595. Note that all the new elements previously mentioned are in carbon fiber.
Under its front cover, this car therefore hides a 1.4 L T-jet of 180 hp with which a 5-speed automatic gearbox is associated. To increase the power of the engine block, Pogea Racing has equipped the abarth with an exhaust system called “Monsterexhaust” knowing that engine cartography has been reworked. It is therefore 220 horsepower which are claimed by the German preparer for the 595 Hercules, the couple of the latter being announced for 350 nm.
Finally, for the interested parties, know that this “Herculean” preparation is available for € 18,810, the starting price of a 595 Competizione being, for info, of € 27,340. Not without humor, note that this body kit is not suitable for the new Fiat 500 100% electric.
